I purchased them for my mother who broke her foot and is in a boot so this adds the extra height needed to keep her feet level and she seems to really like it as it's very comfortable. The soles seems to be of a pretty good sturdiness and flexibility. After using them for a day I had no major problems or pains. Unfortunately, they were more slippery than I expected, requiring some adjustments mid run. Still a good addition.

I purchased a size L and ended up trimming off a little more than a quarter of an inch off the toe section of the insole. Once that was done, it fit perfectly into my shoes. The heel cushion is VERY comfortable. My problem is the ball of the foot area. It feels like this harder section of the insole is too far back and actually sits on my arch. I don't believe this is actually true, but the insole feels that way. Something feels like a ledge right before the ball of my foot. I'm hoping that it's just going to take some time for me to get used to it. ... show more

These insoles are a nice replacement for the basic ones that come with most athletic shoes. They have a little more (but not too much) arch and lateral support. They have a VERY springy heel insert - the heel of the insole rises slightly. You don't notice it when you're wearing them, but there is a LOT of cushion under the heel. Overall, a nice upgrade, but I can't say they really stand out from other non-custom athletic insoles. ... show more

I wear a size 8 women's shoe and this fit perfectly. I didn't need to cut it. You can't wear these if you have narrow shoes, though. It has a ton of cushion with a little arch support. I'm used to more arch support but this does state it is for a natural arch. I have high arches but this still feels comfortable. I really like the gel cushion which helps absorb any impact.
