I think this is a pretty good product for teasing hair. It's a little difficult to see in the picture, but this is a multi row/column teasing comb and in between, it has some finer bristles. It teased my hair, but maybe it was me or my hair, it didn't give it as much volume to my hair as I would like. It works okay. On the other hand, it actually combs through wet hair a lot better than most combs. The handle is wooden and it has a nice sturdy feel to it. I have seen pictures where this product really gave some people volume, but I think it also depends on your hair type. Used this with hairspray for better hold and volume.

I bought this new brush as a back up to another one that I purchased over 12 years ago. I bought it not because the other one broke, but, because I figured maybe it’s worn down and I don’t realize it? So, I bought a new one. As it turns out, my other one still works as well as the day I bought it. It is faded, but structurally sound. So, I will be using it until I can’t. And there’s no way of knowing when that’ll be? In the meantime, I have this back up and I’m sure it will last as long as the other one. Nothing about the quality has changed. They still make them exactly the same. As for functionality… I had purchased a different brand of teasing brush when we moved because I couldn’t find my other brush at first. And did not recall the brand name. So bought a different brand. The other brand is plastic, small, felt cheap and did not grab onto my hair has the.Spornette brand does. That’s right, I know, and will never forget the name now. I missed my other so much, I dug around in the array of boxes until I found it. There is simply no better brush of this kind.
