I originally purchased the single monitor version but the charger stopped working so I contacted customer service and they upgraded me to this. I love the dual monitor feature as you can keep an eye on two areas at once. I use mine to watch the kiddo at night and also for his play room so if I need to walk away for a moment I have eyes on him. The sound and video is really good and I love the size of the monitor. I also really like that I can adjust the camera up/down or left/right directly from the monitor. Since he moves a lot in his sleep I am still able to center the camera on him. Also, bonus points that it has a little stand on the monitor so I can just prop it up on the counter as I am doing dishes or cooking. I had the previous model that only had one camera (though you had the option to add more) and the screen did not split. The actual monitor screen of the previous model was bigger, the whole thing is bigger in general. And with a split screen things are even smaller, but this one seems to have at least as good resolution as the older version. The new one has an antenna on the monitor as well as the the cameras. The older one only had it on the cameras. So the connection is better at even further distances. The cameras and monitor have cords that ends in a USB but also comes with a wall adapter which makes it more versitle than the older version which I like. The best part about this product is the customer service of this company. I emailed them about issues with the older module and they helped me out with the uncle shooting and then a resolution. We received another model for our baby shower (single camera) which had stopped working so I submitted a warranty claim and was contacted by their customer service within 12 hours. They offered to upgrade our older unit to this 2 camera, split screen monitor and I'm glad we did. It's been working great so far and was super easy to setup. I like that the monitor screen is larger, has many options for visuals/sounds, and that we have the option of using the second camera. It has a solid range as we do not experience connectivity issues in our house, and the charge on the monitor so far is good (we do keep it plugged in when we aren't using it). This is my second monitor that I have purchased with this company. The first was a single camera, but my monitor’s video stopped working. I contacted the company and they provided me with a free upgrade to try out. I’m very pleased with this new monitor. It came with 2 cameras and gives you the option of a split screen view, a rotating view between the two, or the ability to use only one camera. The monitor has great visibility and has options to play music or white noise. You also have the ability to turn off the monitor and keep the sound on. I have had this monitor for about a week and so far so good. I have another baby on the way and can’t wait to take advantage of the dual camera view. The customer service was excellent. Wonderful range of visibility , much larger screen than my old one, which is 10+ years old and still working but - the camera was getting dimmer and the monitor only worked if it was plugged in. Love the larger screen and dual screen ability. Accidently inverted one camera and was looking at things up side down for a bit but figured it out. That is a great feature for left handed people though! I bought the original one to keep tabs on my Mom in her declining years. This one is for caring for handicapped, mentally challenged friend. I got this camera monitoring system about a week ago, and I wish I would’ve done it a lot sooner! I’ve only had to use the single screen (waiting on a grand baby to fully utilize these features!) for my niece as she plays herself to sleep. I love the white noise feature as it eliminates having to use a fan. The clarity! Of both camera and microphone, are great!
