This is my third purchase and I am glad that I wasn't put off by the 4.3 star rating!! The JouSecu is, in my opinion, is one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon. I purchased this JouSecu monitor as an OUTDOOR security camera! I Know it is Indoor Only but I was desperate..... due to the number of homeless people roaming and prowling both in front of the house and the alley. My perimeter alarms were triggered multiple times every night and I was terrified, especially after I confronted a man and a very aggressive and terrifying woman, trying to jimmy my front door. I startled them from behind my locked gate, thinking I was somewhat safe but noticed they had several items from my backyard stacked and ready to go on My folding hand cart!!! After several missing packages and one $400 shipment gone.... I had to do something but what!?!?!? With no Wi-Fi to connect security cameras to I was at a loss. Then I started scouring Amazon for a solution. I took a chance and JouSecu seemed to fit my needs.... I definitely needed two cameras and the monitor was a good size of 5 inches, split screen. Installed them in May of 2023, under the cover of the porch, where they couldn't get wet. They have been a godsend!!!! I have great views of both front and back yards. Have startled and deterred several uninvited visitors both day and night. The speakers are clear and I can hear every word. Just by asking "May I help you" is enough to have them look startled, turn in their tracks and leave. It's been almost a year and a half and 24 hours of use throughout two somewhat hot summers and an occasionally freezing winter and other than a slight blurriness, and a disjointed motion delay caused from a little condensation, which clears up quickly, I've been very satisfied. I plan on sealing the seams with silicone before this winter. The monitor can be switched to single camera view or split screen for both at the same time. On the VOX setting it lasts all day. At night I plug it into either the wall socket or my portable power bank thingy, for smartphones. As to why I have purchased three of them... Well the price keeps coming down and, to be honest, I thought I'd be lucky if it lasted through the winter. So I got one for a backup and then worried they may be discontinued so got another one. Another price drop has me contemplating a fourth purchase at $97.99. Just one thing since the cameras are plug in you have to have an outlet. My porch lights only needed a socket adapter but that left the porch dark. I bought a two way socket splitter and two adapters, one for the camera and one for a plug in motion sensor light with a six inch stiff flexible cord that allows for easy positioning. Paired with what they call driveway alarms that alert you when someone enters your property. I am very happy with the ones that look like grey owls (motion sensors ). All above items are available on Amazon. I hope this helps more senior citizens who like myself can't afford WiFi and expensive security cameras. While $97.99 is an astronomical amount for low or fixed income...... the peace of mind at being able to know who or what is outside your door is priceless. Best wishes to all!

I have these cameras set up in my garage and facing my driveway in order to see if anyone is outside my door before I walk into my garage or open the main garage door. The display with the split screen allows you to see clear picture easily. I have it right near my house door to garage and trained my kids to also check before they open the door. It activates with noise also, if my dogs are barking I can check it first. We live in Dallas, TX and things have gotten a little sad with little to no Police protection (you can submit an online report for burglary) and a lot of illegals and criminal activity with revolving door. We keep wasp spray near the doors. This has been an amazing security tool and much less expensive than other camera systems. There is no subscription cost, there is no checking your phone first, its just walk by and look first. I have the one for the driveway under the eve of the house and its protected from weather. Fingers crossed. I recommend the shopkeeper bells and doggie bells on doors and outside gates, you will hear them and the dogs definitely hear them. Single Mom on a budget, has to be resourceful!

The range of connection is not great and our power button got slightly pushed in and it shuts off our monitor. It’s nice to be able to chat thru the microphone and the video quality is great

I bought this monitor for a friends baby shower and shes been using it every single day and she has called me many times and said this monitor has been a lifesaver and she has thanked me many times for it , then one day i got a text from her and she said she had broken the screen and she was so sad and didn't know what she was going to do without it, so i got right on amazon to see what kind of warranty it had on it and amazon gave me the address to reach out to the seller of the monitor which was JouSecu, and they got right bac to me and said take a pic of the screen and text it to them so i did and they replaced the screen with no problem at all. They were happy to. I told them my friend really wanted it as fast as possible and they were very fast . They got it right in the mail and i had it within 3 or 4 days. My friend says the monitor is great in every aspect and she loves it and on top of that its great customer service. I would definitely buy from them again. Thanks agin for the great service.
