    • Very creative and versatile cutting tool!
This is a pretty sweet little invention! But before you think I am making this up let me start by telling you the drawbacks: Downside #1 For the US customers.. this is measured in centimeters. Simplest Solution: You’re going to have to do some simple math. Use a permanent marker to give yourself measurements in Inches and you’ll be rockin and rolling. Drawback #2 There is a small plastic tab underneath the wheel of blades that makes turning it damn near impossible. Best solution: I removed the tab and purposely used a pair of wire cutters to cut one side of the oval. (There is an oval shaped piece on the bottom of the tab that acts as a spring back mechanism. The plastic is far too rigid to operate effectively without a little more “give”. Don’t cut both sides of the oval.. that will just break the tab completely.) Replace the modified tab and you’re good to go. Second solution: Just remove the tab entirely. This option is the simplest but it’s important to note that the tab itself is perfectly aligned to the wheel. When in place the blade will be perfectly lined up with the track you slide it down for cutting. If removed completely, you will have to manually sling the blade onto the track every single time you use it. Drawback 3: The deckling edges are (the arms of the unit which can be used to either stabilize and measure the paper as you cut) arm beautiful on lightweight, thinner paper. Heavier paper such as say.. professional watercolor paper.. well the edges are somewhat violent. Solution: Only use the arms to tear thinner media. Overall: 5/5 for price, versatility and construction. No, I wasn’t paid for this review. But yes, this thing is fantastic for creating beautiful decorative edges, folds and perforated edges! I would definitely buy again if this breaks in 6 months time. I promise to update this review if/when it breaks. ... show more

Overall this is a nice cutter, but I wish I had checked it sooner. It turns out one of the blades on mine doesn’t work, but despite that I do enjoy using it and the rest of the cutters work ok.

    • Fantastic idea but needs work
The entire unit is made of plastic except for the tiny blades. The unit is very tightly made so it is difficult to see much. The space for inserting the paper is very tight and can’t be moved. You have to slide it under the center bar and won’t allow you to cut multiple pieces of paper simultaneously. The cutting blades resemble those of the small square ones used in the Fiskars personal cutters. There is no way to replace them, so when they are dull, they are useless. The blades are selected by turning the circular dial at the top of the unit. My husband was able to turn it enough to select them, but I could not, even while using a rubber type jar opener pad. With the cost, inability to replace blades, inability to operate it on my own, and construction quality, I returned the unit. I will keep watching for an improvement on the idea. One final comment, it doesn’t describe it, but one of the blades is a scoring blade. ... show more

This is so cool and reminds me of those fun scissors we all had as kids. The trouble is that the instructions were really hard to understand and the packaging was difficult. I am glad I got this on sale!

Love all the options, but as noted the bar doesn't lift and the blades cut only deep enough for one sheet.

Works ok I would not buy again unless it was half the price. Wont cut up close to the top or bottom you have to move the paper
