  • This is the professional in the room.
Color: Gray
This is a serious piece of equipment. It will professionally spiral-bind just about any document. The capacity is large. The power is mighty. No more big box binders. Go with this one.

  • Fun to use, good results.
Color: Gray
My wife's review: So, it took me until after the holidays to spend some time with the spiral coil binding machine from the Epoium Store. The binder arrives well packed inside a cardboard box and comes with instructions for use. Set up is fairly easy, but you do need to make sure that machine and punches are wiped down because there is a little bit of oil or lubricant put on the machine parts that can transfer to your paper. Kind of like wiping down your kitchen aid mixer and attachments for that mystery oil that appears from time to time before using. There are 46 adjustable pins/punches that you can set to how many punches you need in total (ending the line of punches to skip an area and then restart) and adjust for spacing depending on the size of your coils. You can also set the margins up for 3 -5 - 7mm. The punch will do 20 pages at a time, but I'm not sure that includes all paperweights - if you are using heavy card stock or especially tag board that would be a push, I think. On one of the description photos it has a graphic that says 33 max holes and I don't know why. I can see no reason not to be able to use all 46 punches. The 500 piece paper limit is due to the coil size the auto roller will do. If you were going to use something other than standard plastic coils for binding, you could certainly do that manually. For someone who really only uses this as a hobby tool, it's more than what I need. I have been doing everything manually, punching and threading coils myself - so this is incredibly satisfying when I'm working on my mixed media journals and scrapbooks. I definitely recommend getting several different size coils to try. And I think I will continue to use my needle nose pliers to crimp the end of the coils because I've gotten so used to it. YMMV. Very fun to use and projects look good when completed. If you need to submit reports or have numerous papers to organize, this is a great addition to your work office. ... show more

  • heavy duty machine
Color: Gray
This spiral coil binding machine is by far the best one I’ve used. I’ve had a few in the past, but this one really stands out. The setup was super easy—honestly, you probably don’t even need the instructions, though they’re there if you want them. I really like that you can adjust the holes manually for more flexibility. Plus, it comes with paper, which is a nice touch. The 46 adjustable punch options are great, and it can handle around 15 to 20 sheets at a time without any issues. I’ve used others where you have to do fewer sheets, so this is a big upgrade. It’s sturdy, strong, and works well for both home and office use. It’s a bit bulky, but honestly, it’s worth it for the performance. Definitely happy with this purchase! ... show more

  • This machine makes it easier to maintain the integrity of loose printed material.
Color: Gray
Epoium Spiral Coil Binding Machine This machine makes it easier to maintain the integrity of loose printed material. I have stacks of material I have printed off the internet, or received from various schooling classes or seminars. These loose papers often get easily damaged, or pages go missing. In the past I would use staples to keep them together, or at best a 3 ring binder. This machine makes creating a much cleaner more useful binding possible. For my test I took two old art college manuals, which were previously only stapled at the top corner and turned then into much more user friendly books! One manual was very large and had to be broken down into two separate coil bound. I suppose if I got a hold of larger coils I could make larger coil bound books. During my conversion I attempted to use the auto-coiler on the machine. It worked, But I found the auto-coiler was more prone to making mistakes, which had to be undone manually;... so ultimately it proved easier to simply wind the coils in by hand. These coil bound manuscripts are much nicer than having stapled papers, or 3 ring binders lying about. 4 stars! Explaining my rating system: 5 - a superior product - I would highly recommend 4 - above average – a great choice 3 - average – what one might generally expect 2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative 1- Horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible ... show more

  • Functions very well
Color: Gray
This is a solid, well manufactured and precision binding machine. It is made of very good quality materials and functions as described in the product listing. This machine requires a power source. It can handle A5, Letter and A4 paper sizes and presumably any other size under the A4. The hole punch functions well, as does the spiral roller. It is shipped with a package of (approx. 50) clear plastic, legal size cover pages and a box of 100 5/16" (8mm) A4 plastic spiral coils. It also includes a purpose made pair of coil crimper pliers. It has adequate instructions and is relatively easy to setup and use. There is a user manual with good instructions and a statement the machine has an 18 month warranty. This is a nice piece of equipment to have on hand if you need to dress up presentations, printed booklets or reports. ... show more
