The Spindle Assemblies fit perfectly and have performed without issue. I cannot speak to the longevity of the units, but for now I am satisfied with the purchase. In the past I have simply replaced the bearings, but decided to do a complete spindle replacement this year. Good thing I did. Fit perfectly in place of the factory spindles . Bolted up with no modifications. Fit my Bad Boy Magnum 54 . Been on two years and we cut 3 acres with no issue so far.

Bearings could stand more grease. Another problem which I considered bad design is that top bearing inner bearing ring slips on the spindle shaft. This will cause problems as the bearing wears out the spindle journal. It is reason I am having to replace the shafts on the current Bad Bay spindles. Must be fiction fit to prevent this wearing of the spindle shaft. I may have to knurl the spindle shaft to provide this fiction fit. ... show more

They came in as promised and do include the shaft for connecting the blade and wheel, which is very nice since my old one was pitted up. have mowed 2x around 8 acres 3 tanks of gas on them and they done great

I purchased these for a Bad Boy MZ 54" mower. They are an exact replacement and fit perfectly. The only downside is the bearings come with little grease, this is the reason why they fail so quickly. The original oem ones have the same flaw. I simply pop off the cover and added more grease. It took 5 pumps worth from a Lincoln grease gun, however much that is. 😆 ... show more
