I've tried many cases, grips, joycons, controllers and one piece joycons. This is the best case I have tried to date. It's weird that I didn't even know that Spigen had cases for the Switch OLED. There is little info out there. While the case is not perfect, it is great. Lets start with the negatives as there isn't many. No kick stand. I am okay with this as I like the window to show the back of my special edition Switch, but kick stands are still nice to have. An option to have no window would have been good for my non special edition Switch. That's really my only con and it is a small con. This includes no MicroSD access. The positives: The case fits perfect. The Switch and joycons feel so solid. Almost like a rock. No joycon wiggle. All ports are cut perfectly including the OLED fan intakes. The charging port cutout is wide open and 99.99% of USB C chargers will fit. I have a few U angle adapters that fit too. Feel in hand: Again, the case makes the Switch feel like one solid dense unit with no wiggle or play. The back grips are large for a more comfortable grip. The bottom corners are flared out and allows for better usage of the Dpad and right joystick. The feel in hand is phenomenal. Overall quality: The molding is excellent. Like all Spigen cases, this has really nice plastic quality. Value: At $18 this hits far above it's weight glass. This better than popular grips I have and provides more protection. Nothing beats this at $18 and in my opinion, this is the best case for the Switch OLED for those who like an adult look.

Case fits great and covers the switch except for shoulder buttons, which ensures switch is nearly fully enclosed, hence offering protection against drops, bumps and other hits it could receive. The cut outs for the various ports are in exact spots in relation to the switch. The provided laynard offers addition security Incase if switch slips out of hand, it will prevent switch from falling to floor with the lanyard secured around hand. Laynard is also slight elastic which makes it more comfortable to use is. As mentioned in other reviews the upper and lower parts of case around the screen has slight movement, however with the case received it is not noticable unless attempt to move it. Also the section of case around the joycon makes it easier to hold the switch for extended periods of time, however it would have been better if it was a bit textured to provide better grip. Overall it's a great case and have not been able to find another case that provides as much protection as this one. Would have hoped it was dockable, however that would result in case been thinner, thus reducing protection it provides.

I absolutely love this case! I use my switch more now that I bought this! It feels so durable and makes the joy cons feel almost welded to the console! Great price! Sleak design! Very protective! Not sure why this isn’t getting a five star review! It’s a phenomenal case with great protection and not too bulky. Yes, there are cases out there with even more protection. This case covers all scenarios with you sitting or standing. Also, the strap is handy for all situations. If something happens, you can prevent it from hitting the ground in the first place! Despite not being dockable, it is comfortable in the hands and easy to get off when needed. It really makes my Switch have the same feel that I love about the Switch Lite. Lastly, it’s super attractive and complements any controller set you use and has a transparent back. Love everything Spigen does and this is no exception!

This is a great grip. The only two major problems with it is that you have to have the Joycons attached in order to fit the grip onto the Switch. I hate that design because I cannot remove the Joycons with the grip attached. I had to use a mini knife to cut portions off. The other issue is that the top of the grip near the L and R buttons blocks them from being used. Another reason why it has to use a knife to cut off that part of the grip. Hopefully a revision of the grip is made because I do not recommend the grip as of right now.

This is an excellent case! I had the Rugged Armor case on my Switch Lite and new a little about it. When I bought the Switch OLED and this case wasn’t available yet, I was disappointed. Sure enough, Spigen released it and I bought it as soon as I saw it. This is a perfect case for those handheld players such as myself. Let me clarify a few mixed things I have seen in reviews. First off, many reviewers purchase this case for the original switch, then complained when it didn’t fit. This is not for the original Switch, but the OLED model. The fit is perfect, see my images. Secondly, this case is NOT dockable. This is definitely not a dealbreaker for me as I play handheld 99% of the time. If I played more docked, I probably wouldn’t purchase this case. The fit is so good, that it’s not the easiest to get it and out of the case. All in all, I’d buy it again 100%.
