I bought this device after days of searching and settled on it for my farming needs particularly for the sensors and claimed functions....i could have done a better job than they did here. What is the issue? 1. Once the set humidity is reached this device goes off and never comes back on even if you can hear the components active 2. It also now seems that even when you place it back on and it shows your previous humidity setting, it does not trigger even if the set value is below. For #2, I made something to automate to put the device to come on and after a few days of monitoring, this is what i found. I had to toggle the humidity button all the way back to 50% for it to trigger, level it and goes off. Now i am here wondering what can i do with this crap. I doubt its the sensor since it reads value changes. They surely did not test this product at all!

Let me tell you, the Spider Farmer 3-in-1 6L Humidifier has been a serious upgrade to my grow tent. I've been through a lot of gear, and this one has quickly become a staple in my setup. All-in-One Wonder: This thing does it all—humidifies, monitors temperature, and checks humidity. It’s like having an assistant that actually knows what it’s doing. I love that I can keep an eye on everything with one piece of equipment. It’s made dialing in the perfect environment so much easier, which my plants are definitely appreciating. Big Tank, Easy Refill: The 6-liter tank means I’m not constantly running back to refill it, which is a lifesaver during those long flowering days. The top-fill design is also a huge plus—no more awkward refilling or spills. It’s quick, clean, and gets the job done. Cool Mist Magic: The cool mist is clutch for keeping things from overheating, especially when the lights are cranking. The ultrasonic mist is smooth and even, making sure every inch of my tent gets that sweet, sweet humidity. Hose it Down: The hose feature is just genius. Bought the 4.2 gallon humidifier as used in “Acceptable” condition. It arrived packed in all the original packaging, all the accessories were present, and the unit looks pretty close to brand new as far as I can tell. I’ve been running it all week with the probe attached and so far no issues… it’s working perfectly. Totally worth the value at half the usual price. I should mention that I also own the 3in1 6-liter (smaller version) purchased in 2024. The larger 4.2 gallon unit is much different and more effective. The physical output on this larger unit is much wider compared to the smaller unit, so not only does it run longer on its larger capacity reservoir but it also humidifies the room more efficiently. Plus it has wheels and can be filled from the top without having to remove the lid like the smaller version.

Spider farmer 6L humidifier is beautiful in its ' simplicity. Install the hoses, add water in the tank and plug it in. + easy to install + stretch hoses allow to distribute the mist in two directions + effective mist production + silent + big water tank - hoses accumulate condensation if curved - temperature display only in F° - dripping sound when low water level - the display turns off even when in use - really loose connection with the lid and primary hose All in all very happy with the product. Very effective humidifier. Keeps humidity level accurately. When installing make sure the condensated water does not drip on any electric devices! Primary hose could be longer.

* update. Kinda feel like these are way to easy to damage if you get it wet. Are the electronics even sealed? My current unit just died after it decided to overfill the lower tank for whatever reason. I mean it’s just plastic “trigger” and spring. I guess it got stuck. Screen fogged. Unit died shortly after trying to dry it out as i cannot return it. Previous unit ordered did not align with the base properly and would not even dispense water into the lower reservoir. Overall, questionable durability. Switching brand. Thankfully AC infinity make better units now. (* original review) Nothing fancy, but it’s better than using a reptile humidifier. The larger capacity is welcome as well as the increased mist levels. This humidifier is much better than smaller units i had been using. I don’t use the built sensor. I agree that it doesn’t appear to be very accurate, but i use and would recommend you get and inkbird and move on with your life. Much more capable and accurate than any built in meter and it will also control your dehumidifier. The spider farmer humidifier is fully compatible with external controllers since it has recall for all of the previous setting before power is cut. I’ve been using this unit for just about 6 months and it seems much more durable than reptile versions as well. Great machine. Plenty of humidity works well when others haven’t. I’ll be trying the 16L version for my large tent next.

Absolutely 100% Junk. If it lasts 2 grow seasons it will be a miracle. I am on my second one since 12/24. It has broken also. I did buy the extended warranty. However I am getting the run around about replacement. If you buy this piece of junk be warned it won't last long.

I have used several humidifiers in the past, and none of them worked all that well. To be honest, I thought that a lot of them weren't really doing anything at all. I was skeptical that this one would work either, but I was willing to give it a try and I am really glad that I did. When you turn this unit on, you KNOW that it is working with amount of vapor that it has. So much in fact that while I was testing it outside, it actually raised the humidity around the unit enough to hit the humidity target so that it turned itself off, which is nuts. It holds a ton of water and so will run for a long time, which is a problem that I have run into in the past as well with units that have smaller tanks. If you are looking for a humidifier that actually works, check this one out for sure!
