Love the convenience of not having to go to a tanning salon in the winter. I work 12 hour shifts and I NEED SUNLIGHT. This helps get me some color and vitamin D that I am lacking in the winter months. Helped lift my spirits too. I set this up on my floor or on a table and pretend I am in the islands somewhere. LOL. I use it about 3 to 4 times a week. I tan my legs one session. Then I do my back. Then I do my front and face. Shipping was perfect. Very well packed. If anyone has any problems refer to the manual. Sometimes bulbs come loose in shipping and you have to turn them slightly. VERY EASY to do. I went ahead and went to the Sperti website and ordered a NEW set of 4 bulbs just in case. They are good for 1000 hours so may never need them. I was considering buying another SPERTI FIGI sunlamp so I can do my back and front at the same time. Received sun lamp a few days after placing my order. I was concerned about it arriving with broken bulbs or other damage but it was packaged extremely well and I had no issues at all. The instructions were clear, concise and easy to understand (no funny translations). I popped the bulbs in, installed the stand bracket plugged it in and the lamp fired right up. I started tanning within 15 minutes of receiving it! Everything works perfectly. Love tanning in the privacy of my home whenever and wherever I need or want to. It's small and portable but powerful. I bought the Fiji Sun Indoor Tanning Lamp about 3 months ago. Living in Ohio I tend to lose all of my tan in the winter months, and always have to worry about getting a sunburn when the summer months arrive. I have to say, I don't need to worry about that anymore. The Fiji Sun Tanning Lamp works fantastic, better than I expected. I placed it in the corner of my bedroom, using it in the mornings. I started slow, then worked my way up in timed minutes to where now I have a very good base tan. I have had family and friends ask me if I have had just got back from vacation, which is kind of funny. Since I had never indoor tanned before, I wasn't too sure if it would work and if I really wanted to purchase this unit. Well, let me just say, I'm glad I did. I bought this over two years ago and it has not tanned me once. When I first got it, I used it and it burned me pretty badly. I waited until it didn't hurt, peeled, and tried again with less time. I used it three times in one week for 5 minutes each time, but all it did was make the burn worse. Then one day, like an idiot, I used it without eye protection, kept my eyes shut, and had to go to the hospital because I burned my retinas. My eyes were swollen shut for two days. That happened in January 2022, and I didn't use it again until 2023. Every now and then, I would think that maybe I'm just doing something wrong, so I would use it again. I mean, I paid good money for it, but burn and peel was all it did. I have been using tanning beds since I was 16 so I know it's not because of me or my skin type. I only stopped going because of convenience and money. However, just recently, I started going to a local tanning salon and built up a great base tan. One day, I couldn't make it to the salon, and I figured there's no way I'll get burned this time, but nope. I have no clue what these bulbs are for, but they are certainly not for tanning!! ... show more

I bought this unit to help me in the winter months. my mood tends to be less positive when there is less sun. This was exactly what I was looking for. It’s a good size, and with just five minute sitting in front of it I feel much better. Easy to store.

The way I have found that this unit works for me is 1) make sure unit is in the "Off" position with the little flip switch. 2) plug unit in, 3) set timer to desired amount of time for exposure. you will hear it clicking never turn time in counter clockwise position it could damage the timer. 4) put flip switch to the on position if it fails to start in the on position check your cord or repeat the flip switch one time. remember to wear the goggles provided to protect your eyes mine came with two pair. I highly recommend this unit when going to a tanning bed is not possible. remember not to get to close to the unit you could get burned also make sure to ease into the tanning process start out at 3 minutes then slowly go into the next minute per each two tanning sessions until you reach about 8 minutes I dont recommend going over 8 minutes possibly 9 after first three months. let the Sperti Fiji sun work slowly to prevent from being burned. ... show more

This sun lamp is not cheap but in my case performs exactly as advertised. I live in the Northeast US, with little sunlight during the winter months and was looking for a way to maintain healthy color. I tan easily and don't burn from moderate sun exposure. For convenience, mounted the lamp above my bed (pic) and have used it daily for 5 to 15 minutes in the morning for about 3 months now. Distance to the lamp is somewhat larger than per the instruction manual but results are good. Nice even tan, no burns or other side effects. Would purchase again. ... show more

Just because is not getting hot doesn’t mean it’s not working.. I got a little too close on my first session and ended up in the hospital with blisters, bleeding cracked skin and my entire face peeled off.. I have since tried it again (from the recommended distance of course) and I do get a burn but it NEVER turns into a tan. Which is insane because I tan very very well. I live in Key West, FL. So to see if it was my skin or the machine, I got a slight burn outside naturally and it turned into a beautiful tan a day later. So it’s not my skin. I wish I had time to do that regularly, but I don’t.. which is why I spent so much money on this product. So to summarize, it burns me…BADLY…but never tans me. It just seemingly cooks off the skin that’s there. Even if I’m following directions. ... show more
