Unit utilizes Autoranging capabilities that allow the meter to determine resolution based on the application selected without requiring manual adjustments and incorporates special test lead input icons designed into the display that prompt the user with correct lead placement for a desired test to ensure proper test results. I was (retired) electronics tech. I've got meters in the car in my, closet, heavy tool bag, etc. Wanted something to keep in the nightstand with the other must-haves. I use the TC more than I thought. The software. I've used this on 4 different versions of Android, both phones and tabs. 8 thru 12 if I remember. You have to give the app the full permissions it wants all the time. It will work. October 24 update, I paid $40 for this in March, now it's over $100, WTF. ... show more

Description states that a Bluetooth option exists for logging data. There is no BlueTooth app on the USA store, making it problematic to use if auto loggingwas your goal. Apparently this omission had been. Noted over time but Amazon has not required them to remove this non-feature.

The DM6850T is very handy and super flat. It can practically be operated with one hand. TRMS - The autoranging function is helpful for many measurements. With the SELECT button you can switch Bluetooth on or off. The display is large and can be opened by holding the Hold button for 2 seconds. Background to be lit. The supplied accessories are sufficient for all measurements. There is even a temperature sensor, a measuring bridge for components and two clip-on terminals for plus and minus. A plastic bag with zipper is included where everything fits Drawback: The measuring cables are very stiff and look very cheap :( Conclusion: **** Only four out of five stars because of the measuring cable. ... show more

The Bluetooth feature is not available for current versions of Android. I was also disappointed that the amps are limited to 10, but I should have read the description better.
