I had headaches when I started this, so I backed the dosage down to only one per day instead of two. That was still a little bit strong, so I was taking them every other day. Eventually I could take 1 10mg per day. When I got to the end of the bottle, I wasn’t sure if I had had any results? I am retirement age and felt like my skin may or may not have looked better. If you paid attention in high school biology, you know that cells are your body's building blocks and that each cell you have has multiple parts that keep it functioning. Just like with your car, home appliances, or romantic relationships, these parts can become defective or stop working causing you to age faster. That's where autophagy comes in. Autophagy describes the mammal body's process of internal recycling and cleansing and it's apparently a hot topic for those studying aging and how to avoid becoming decrepit. During autophagy, your body eliminates/reuses old and damaged cell parts. Think of it like flushing out your system automatically. (Wouldn't this be great to have in other areas of your life?) Spermidine is thought to help turbocharge the autophagy process. Now that the biology less is done... I got into researching spermidine because I want to live forever to torment and harass my spawn and their spawn. I want to be the tattooed granny on the back of a Harley flipping off passing motorists! Spermidine exists naturally in the body. It acts as longevity agent in mammals, although we don't understand much about how it does so. There is some evidence that spermidine reduces inflammation and regulates cell growth, in addition to aiding the autophagy process. The name makes it sound nasty, but the convenient capsules ensures that unless, for some strange reason, you leave it in your mouth to dissolve, it has no taste. I cannot claim it has made me live longer, since I still walk among the living as I write this. However, it's worth a try to help me achieve immortality.

This works but I really want to know how much actual spermidine is in this product. I have used DoNotAge.orgs spermidine and this one and they both are very effective as far as the difference I see. With both of these products I see my skin firming and wrinkles minimizing within a week, literally. I have a question about the actual amount of spermidine in these spermidine capsules. The question I have is too long to post in the questions segment..so I will post it in a review: I have been taking these for a while now and I like them but I wanted to get some information so I could get an accurate idea of how much spermidine is in each capsule. I emailed the company this information: Please let me know if the below is correct regarding amount of spermidine per 2 capsule serving:From what I understand, it looks like the product you have in your capsules is spermidine trihydrochloride which has a chemical formula of: C7H19N3·3HCl and a molecular weight of 254.63 g/mol. Spermidine has a chemical formula of C7H19N3 and has a molecular weight of 145.2459 g/mol. So for any given amount of Spermidine HCL, the actual weight of the spermidine is only going to be 57% and the remaining 43% weight is due to the 3HCL. So this would lead me to believe that since you have 10mg of Spermidine HCL in each serving, that the actual amount of spermidine in each 2 capsules is only 5.7mg and the amount of the 3HCL is 4.3mg. Is this correct? If this is the case, it would be very helpful if you could list the actual amount of spermidine in your capsules, instead of just listing the weight for the spermidine 3HCL. Since the actual amount of spermidine found in spermidine 3HCL is only 57% or 5.7mg per every 10mg

These guys are gaining a good reputation and so I decided to purchase from them rather than the usual vendor I use because their price was lower and the quality seems just as good. Spermidine is a natural polyamine that animal studies have shown stimulates autophagy, a process that recycles cellular components and may have anti-aging effects. Spermidine levels decline with aging, and some studies suggest that increasing spermidine intake with food or supplements may improve health and longevity. However, there are very few human studies using spermidine 10 milligrams as a supplement. I found only one clinical trial that used this dose in 100 older adults for 90 days to test its effect on memory and cognitive decline. The results were not very impressive, as there was no significant difference between the spermidine group and the placebo group on any of the cognitive tests. Another clinical trial is currently recruiting participants to test the metabolic responses to spermidine supplementation at doses of 5 or 10 milligrams per day for 12 weeks.The aim is to measure changes in biomarkers related to inflammation, oxidative stress, mitochondrial function, autophagy and aging. Therefore, it seems that more research is needed to establish the optimal dose and duration of spermidine supplementation for humans, as well as its safety and efficacy for various health outcomes. But there is a lot of interest from legitimate researchers, because the non-human studies look so promising. It's typical that the early studies on mice don't directly translate, but there wouldn't be a lot of activity researching the potential if there wasn't real evidence that there is real potential!
