    • Great battery that works with the smart charger and fits a Traxxas Maxx V2
I love my spektrum batteries and chargers and use this for the Arrma Mojave 4s, the Kraton 4S and also the Traxxas Maxx V2. On the Arrma's, you will need to remove that little lever in the battery tray (2 screws at the bottom of the chassis) but also it won't sit flush in the battery tray. But it does fit and you can just pull the velcro tight. On the Traxxas Maxx V2, it just fits which is amazing considering the size. Great battery! ... show more

    • Expensive but good battery
Well this thing is a beast and I honestly only bought it because I thought I needed it at the time. Then I realized the ESC didn't actually require the 'smart' battery. I ran it in a 1/7 ARRMA Fireteam until switching to two 3s Lipos in series. Gave me a lot of power and run time but I had to buy a separate charger as well. Defeats the purpose when that charger doesn't cover all my other batteries, and I can only charge this one in it's specific charger. The basic smart charger they sell does however include 4 battery types such as LiHv so I was able to just make a bunch of adapters to accommodate my other batteries. ... show more

Spectrum smart batteries are the best batteries I've ever used in my RC cars. Don't listen to the people who tell you to buy the cheap Chinese Lipos. Yes, cheaper is cheaper but better is better!

    • Get the most out of your 5th scale Arrmas.
I have tried others to save a little money. For my 5th scale stuff I find quality batteries give the best performance. Hard to find better than these Spektrum basher packs.

Good batteries but very pricey. One problem is that when I've run the packs twice charged twice, but information on the charger relating to the battery shows six cycles instead of two. So how many cycles that is being read is not accurate at all. Also preset voltage for storage from the factory is set at 3.90v per cell. ... show more
