If you're a competitive swimmer, or are looking to train in the pool a LOT (two or more times a week), this is the perfect suit. I bought my standard swimsuit size (P.S. sizing tip- I find the size most accurately represents the size of your ribcage. Aka, take the measurement along the widest part of your ribcage and that should be close to the size that you need) and it fit exactly as I expected it to. If you're unsure, err on the larger size, because the suit has little stretch to it. But it's SUPPOSED to be like that. I have bought these suits before. I had one last me for 5 (!) years of continual abuse. I'm talking 20 hours a week in the pool and it lasted for 5 YEARS! The next one I bought has so far lasted me 3 years. This is the latest one that I bought, and I'm mostly using it a meet suit, and a backup practice suit. The quality is so excellent for the price. Tips to make your suit last a really, really, really long time: * After you are done swimming, rinse your suit in cold water. DO NOT WASH IT unless you absolutely have to. NEVER PUT YOUR SUIT IN A WASHING MACHINE! Doing so will ruin your suit much faster. If you MUST wash, use gentle detergent and wash in cold water. And for Phelp's sake, DO NOT PUT IT IN A DRYER OMG WHYYYYYYY * Dry your suit after every practice. "Duh," you might say, but trust me, seasoned swimmers often leave suits in their bags due to laziness (or because we forgot as we were stuffing our faces/taking a nap/etc.). Make sure you hang it up someplace where it can get 100% dry. If you leave it wet for long periods of time, you get stuff called "dry mold", which is yes, literally mold, that looks like a white powder, but is difficult to remove from your suit. Drying is important to keeping yourself clean, and your suit lasting a long time. * Less important than the other two, but be gentle when putting your suit on and off. Yes, it will be tight at first, but that doesn't mean you should force it on, like the Hulk in reverse. Stretching out your suit will damage the fibers. Bottom line: This suit is superb quality, really the best practice suit you can buy. The fit is true to size, but tight. But if you are a seasoned competitor, it should not bother you (those who are less into tight suits should definitely size up!). Expect your suit to last you years!

This suit lasts forever. Rinse it off with cold water and don’t ring it out to keep it running small. Don’t be deterred by the fact that there is no give. You want it to be hard to put on. The material seems more like woven cotton than a stretchy-tight spandex suit. It takes getting used to but it’s worth it for a suit that lasts this long. This is also a very modest cut, full coverage. Considering its longevity the price is more than reasonable.

I have some Speedo suits from 2020 that are a size 36 that fit. The 36 of this was too small. the 40 was too big, and the 38 was a bit tight but that is the one I kept. But it is still a good quality suit nonetheless.

I never write reviews, but I'm leaving this one to help with sizing. My height is between 5'7" and 5'8", weight fluctuates between 135-140 lbs, measurements are 35" bust, 27" waist, 40" hips with a long torso. I initially ordered this suit in a size 12 or 38, which is the size I wear in the swimsuit I was replacing (the Speedo Pro LT), but that size was too long in the torso and loose in the chest. The size 10 or 36, while a bit snug when dry, fits me much better in the pool without any gaping or bagging of the fabric. I swim laps 3x a week and I feel like this one is sturdy enough to last me for a while.

The one-star is not for performance as this suit never saw the water. One-star for this suit being INSANELY TOO SMALL. I'm talking three-sizes too small. It would not even go over my hips. I am returning it mad ~ very poorly labeled and measured for size. I will have to order three sizes larger than I am to get the correct fit.

This is a beautiful, extremely flattering suit. I don't swim competitively but was looking for a fun suit to wear while playing with my kiddos in hotel pools. I am typically a size 6 or small/medium in a one piece. I'm 5'9 with very long legs and a short waist. I got this one in size 36, black. It was super long! The chest of the suit came up to my collar bone - not wear it hits the model at all. The rest of the suit fit like a dream - the back covered where it needed to without feeling like a granny suit or revealing too much. I will be returning for a smaller size in hopes of decreasing the length of the suit but not sure how that will work out. If you're long waisted, this is the suit for you!

Well made, but wow does it run small! I am 5 ft 2 in and 118 lbs. Based on other reviews that said it ran small, I got the 34 (US size 8). When I say I had to force this thing on my body... it was like stuffing myself into a kids' suit! I decided to wear it into the pool on the hope that when wet it might give a little more, but nope. The fabric is not stretchy at ALL. I don't even think the next size up would fit me! So buyer beware... get a suit like 5 times bigger than the size you normally wear!
