The only issue is that the vest likes to float up on the toddler, pulling the crotch strap up and creating a wedgie situation. If the strap were thicker, it would help. It still works pretty well; it just looks uncomfortable!

Fits nice in the large size for a 44 lb child. Lots of freedom of movement around the arms. Bouyancy is just right so child floats independently but not so much they can’t swim.
