Received my radiator... considering returning because of some bent fins and "missing" parts and Install Instructions. Missing "tools" (small ring - like tools that help disconnect cooling lines) were missing from the box. Amazon product photo shows baggie with 4 fittings: 4 mounting clips, and 4 plastic or metal "tools". I only received the four fittings, and the mounting clips appear to be on the radiator. I did not receive the Install Instructions or 4 "tool" rings. I did print a PDF from the Amazon site that is a notice from Spectra showing use of the tools. So I called Spectra Radiator's Tech Support and was told that the bent fins are okay as long as I don't see any holes. The small area of bent fins should not affect performance and if I wanted to take the time I could unbend them, but it's not necessary. They also say they have never packed "tools" with their radiators... so Amazon either is using the wrong picture, or if a third party is involved, they may have added them... POINT IS I DID NOT GET WHAT WAS SHOWN. Since I have a mechanic lined up to help change radiator tomorrow and I just received this, there is no time to get another from Amazon... I may return this one and buy one locally... not sure yet... I want to see what Amazon says about this...

The radiator fits well as intended. The transmission lines and the oil cooler lines plugged in perfectly. This radiator is well constructed and seated in my 2001 Astro van 4.3L. Yes! I would recommend this product.

I installed this radiator in a 2001 Safari, I had no problems the part is exact fit. It comes with connecting hardware, everything needed to replace an old OEM or equivalent. The separator tool is handy and instructions are easy to follow. I recommend this radiator to replace original it is the same as what I removed and performs well under normal conditions.

Installed on my 2002 Astro Van. only problem was one of the connectors for cooling hose was slightly off, added only about 30 minutes to install, to get it to line it up correctly.

Fits fine as expected, but has only a 5/8" core thickness instead of the 1" called for on my '96 Safari. Additionally, the lower transmission cooler line leaks slightly no matter if using the stock quick disconnect or a 3/8" barb fitting. It's not cross-threaded, but nevertheless it seeps juuuuuust enough to annoy me.

Perfect fit on my 2000 Chevy Astro van. I would however recommend getting different oil and trans line disconnect clips. The ones that comes with the unit are plastic and seem to easily bend when pressed in.
