Built this with my grandson as his first model car. Muffler is always a bit difficult. A great learning experience for a kid. I had him paint with rattle cans the trees parts prior to building. It proudly sits on his night stand for a couple of years now.

I've had a lot of issues with AMT kits in the past and this one is no different. I had to trim about 1cm off the sides of the radiator to get it to fit between the fenders and the car sits very high in the front. I was desperate because I wanted to build Dean's Impala from Supernatural instead of get a complete diecast car. Overall it is an okay kit, and at some point may buy it to build the actual SS. ... show more
