I purchased this brand and model on Snapchats website a few years ago and I was able to swim in the ocean underwater with them no problem with perfect video. I bought this off Amazon this year and took them out in the ocean. They were “water resistant” but the video was blurry and the inside of the camera lens got wet. I haven’t opened it yet but for some reason you can see in the picture the usb cable was already out of the case and the seal was broke at the top. Once I find some time to use it I will try it out if it functions normally or not.

The media could not be loaded. Love them. Great for casual use. Great for beach and festival season. I’ve gotten ~20 private compliments from friends on my Snapchat Stories. - water resistant af, great for pool/taking vids in water - the time frame of 10/30 sec recording is perfect for bite sized videos - great video quality - I jumped into a mosh pit and they made it out alive after getting hit in the face - good battery life, 60+ videos before dying - love exporting and putting on various social media channels - must buy if you love capturing a moment (Here’s a video from Lollapalooza 2019) ... show more

I've had the spectacles since they first came out and have always enjoyed them. I wanted to upgrade to the new water resistant version so I don't have to worry about getting caught in the rain or them getting damaged at the beach. I use these everyday as prescription sunglasses and was able to transfer the same lenses I bought for my old specs into my new pair, which is great. (The replacement lenses I purchased for $40 online.) My family and friends all use Snapchat so having to pair these with the app works for me. The video quality has improved. Importing is much faster. The case is much smaller and the glasses are lighter. I understand that this is kind of a niche product but I'm still very happy with my purchase. ... show more

These work as advertised. I've been using mine since I got them. The video quality is great. My only issues are that I wish they weren't so round looking and the syncing takes a bit. I'm not talking about it downloading videos/pics from the glasses, but it won't detect that you have new snaps right away. Even though it says it's looking for new snaps, it didn't detect them for another 20 minutes. And yes I was on wifi. Other than that, I really like them. Wish I would have gotten the blue ones instead tho. lol ... show more

Ok, these are definitely a niche novelty item, but they are very easy to set up and use, and are super fun. In the Snap Chat app you get the best experience, but when you export as a fish eye, square or wide screen video you still get a really nice & unique POV type of video. The design looks similar to the glasses I normally wear, which helps, these can be kinda geeky looking, but it is a niche tech toy after all. So far I’ve used them on bike rides, walks around the city holiday displays and in an art museum (one exhibit featuring an infinity room), definitely awesome way to capture memories. ... show more

Works as it should, love being able to make memories with these taking pics and video. Not the most comfortable to wear for long periods of time so that kind of sucks(maybe I have a big head haha), but I just cary an extra set of sunglasses to use most of the time and throw these on when I want to record or take pics. Not too sure how water resistant they are might try that later. ... show more

I love my Spectacles. I especially like that I can wear them while riding my bike during the day so they act as my sunglasses and my camera. I will say that I wish when sending the videos to others that it used a white square and not a black square as the background. Other than that it really is a fun and cool thing to own! ... show more
