Its mixed TC cotton canvas and waterproof Oxford materials give it a rugged, premium feel, and the inclusion of a stove jack adds real cold‑weather capability if you have a stove. Ventilation is excellent thanks to the mesh windows, breathable roof, and dual‑layer doors, which help keep condensation down while still blocking insects. The 9.8 foot diameter and 6.6 foot peak height create a surprisingly open interior that comfortably fits a small family or group of three to four. The rain fly really cuts down on leaks and wind intrusion. There isn't much room for cots or gear, but plenty of room for sleeping and just hanging out. Setup is straightforward, and the aluminum poles and steel stakes provide a stable structure that holds up well in wind and snow. My total setup time was around 25 minutes, but it would go much faster with additional hands. I got this yurt tent for weekend camping trips and have been happy with it overall. The mixed TC cotton fabric feels durable and breathable, and it handled sun exposure and light moisture without any issues. Ventilation is a strong point—between the mesh windows, mesh base, and breathable roof, airflow is excellent and bugs stayed out. The two-color design looks great in person, and the double-door setup makes getting in and out easy. I like that both fabric and mesh layers can be rolled up depending on the weather. Inside, there’s plenty of room for 2-3 people with gear, and the ceiling height makes it comfortable to move around without feeling cramped. Setup was straightforward and quicker than expected, even the first time. The aluminum poles feel sturdy, and once staked down, the tent stayed stable in moderate wind. Everything fit back into the carry bag without a struggle, which is always a plus. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that it’s a bit heavier than standard tents and takes some space when packed. I finally opened the shipping container (box) to have a look at this tent and the equipment that’s included for the use of this excellent tent! Wow! The quality is obvious- the material used is very heavy duty and the construction is very well done- i.e. stitching, the way the various parts are joined- i mean, it’s very well made. The size matches perfectly with what’s advertised and it’s very roomy. Very comfortable inside. A very tall person may not have perfect freedom of movement, but 6’ and below- very good. This tent haa great value for money. The material quality is high, so if the user takes care to store it well (dry!) and keep the parts for setup clean, well, this tent will last for many many camping trips, very enjoyable camping will be what’s part of the experience using this tent. Now, it is not lightweight. The big one i got isn’t. Maybe the smaller one, but this tent is or for backpacking- unless you have a mule or someone who is very strong. But that’s okay. It’s a big roomy, very well ventilated/airy tent with great protection from rain and sun. Be sure to study and understand the instructions. And keep them for future use. Happy Camping!
