I had been looking for some garden edge fencing the last few years, but nothing I'd found was tall enough without being a white picket style. This 20-pack of decorative garden fencing is just perfect for the sidewalk entry in front of my house. There are 20 individual black wire fence panels, plus plastic stakes and plastic S-shaped connectors. Each fence panel has two places to connect the ground stakes. Attaching the stakes to the fence panel took a little time, since it is a tight fit. Once I got the stakes on, I used the S-shaped connectors to attach a few panels together, then went outside to measure the edging with them to see how many I would need. Of the 20 panels, only three had a single unconnected piece of wire in the pattern. The unconnected pieces are not noticeable when looking at the panel, and I only found them when I was touching the panel to put on the stakes. It took 17 panels for my project. It was easier to connect all 17 panels at once, rather than install the fencing and try to add a panel later. I was fortunate that all the corners of the sidewalk matched up with a two-panel connection and were easily folded 90 degrees to continue the run of the fencing. I love the plastic stakes because I have hard sand and rocky dirt in the front yard. I was able to set up the fencing to see how it would look and the wind wasn't able to blow it over. Once it was arranged, I pressed the stakes into the ground as far as they would go for each of the panels. The connectors can be moved around so that the fence panels are even at the top, no matter how deep the bottom sits. The whole fence is sturdy and in no danger of flopping over. I am happy with the practicality of this fencing, and I also like the design. It is a basic arch with a cool flair at the top. It is tall enough that no one is tripping over it. It delineates and upgrades the look of the walkway.

These work as they should, look nice, and it's easy to assemble the spikes onto the bottom.....A very attractive design, compared to others that I have, but then again, these are a little thinner as far as the material thickness. This is my 5th set of this type of fencing, each set being from a different brand... and these compare similarly .... the niceness of the design, somewhat making ups for the thinner material, in my opinion. I never bother to "attach" these fence panel's together, with he provided little connectors... I just put them in the ground, one next to the other, I see no need to physically join them with plastic pieces. At first, I said whoa, look at these, you can only stick an inch into the ground, how's that going to ever work? Well, I look in the box again, and yes, there were the plastic spikes, that attach to the little one inch nubs... my wife said another set we have has the same feature, where you had to connect the plastic spikes, and she said those "screwed on"... so that was the only learning curve there, learning that these don't "screw" on, you just jam them on, push them into place... very simple, and very non-time consuming... now, hooking the panels together with the plastic connectors, like with most any brand of this type fencing, is a task I would not want to take on, that seems like a pain, but like I said, I have good results not using the connectors. This is a nice garden border fence; it is pretty and seems to be good quality. I don't know how long it'll last, but I expect to get at least 3-5 seasons use out of it; which I think is about normal unless you repaint or somehow protect it. I received the full twenty aprox. 12.5 x 22" sections of border. Tough to install: I must agree with the others here who have noted how difficult it is to put this kit together. You must attach the pegs to each section of fence and then connect the sections with the little "S" clips. The pegs and "S" clips are all plastic and they really don't go together easily. Though I had six extra clips, I only had forty pegs, so if I had lost or broken any pegs, I would have had to improvise somehow. Is this set worth buying and struggling with? Well, if I only had a small area of application, I would be OK dealing with the difficulties involved, but not if I needed more than one kit. I installed the one kit, and it looks really nice, but I'm going to have to buy two more kits to finish my flower beds. Uggh, I'm not looking forward to it, but you've gotta do what you've gotta do.

product was not made right, the metal fence was suppose to fit in pre made plastic post that went into the ground. The plastic posts holes were made to small for it to fit in. Probably when the metal fence was made and coated for preventing rust the coating made it to tight to fit in. I received several blisters on hands after pushing and twisting trying to make fit. Terrible design and don't buy...

They provide these plastic leg posts that you need to push the wire legs into in order to get the legs long enough to penetrate the soil and keep the fence upright. This process was challenging. Luckily nothing broke in the process since there wasn't any extra plastic legs. Gloves helped with gripping it to put it together. The next part was plastic S clips that are used to connect the fence pieces together. Those were not as hard to put on the fence. The wire fence itself I think is a little on the flimsy side. I suppose if they are just sitting in the ground the no problem. But...if anyone happens to fall on these or accidently kick them I can see them bending. I can't tell you if they don't have any issues with rust because I haven't had them for long...but, if they do start to rust I may revisit this review and provide that update. In the end I think these are ok. I don't think I would recommend them for the 38.98 price tag. If the price were to come down to like 29.99 or less, that would make this a little better of a deal for the quality of the item received.
