I don’t think I’ve ever written a review on an Amazon product, and here I am! Straight off the bat: I was skeptical of the sizing chart as I haven’t worn apparel in a size xs/s in my entire adult life. My elbow measurement is exactly 10 inches, which put me at the very edge of xs, so I got a s. Glad I did! Personally: as a healthcare worker, compression socks are something everybody has a few pairs of at work. With my poor circulation and tendency to have tendinitis spread down my left arm, I’ve been looking for a good arm compression sleeve that isn’t crazy expensive medical compression. I struggled to find any that felt like a good compression sock feels. Based on the ad and review pictures, these seemed to be a good candidate. I got them today and they’re great! They have the same feel as my socks do. I will be recommending these to my coworkers and friends. THE ONLY THING, and this is literally just a personal wish I have for any sort of compression sleeve, is that I would looove to see these in a petite size for those of us with shorter arms! Taking 1”-1.5” off the bottom so there isn’t excess sleeve that’s not doing anything and another 1”-1.5” off the top so it doesn’t get so tight having to sit almost in the armpit would be such an awesome addition. We short limbed people would love to have something that’s in between the full length arm sleeve (that ends of being too long) and just a short elbow compression. I’d buy a pair in every color if this brand did that! ... show more

I am a big fan of so-called compression sleeves and have many various brands made from different fabrics. Most I wouldn't consider very helpful for some of my major past-times - weightlifting and trekking in the wild. While most compression sleeves provide some level of support and protection, one really needs to align the type of compression sleeve being used to the activity just as one would socks, shoes or boots. When people think of weightlifting or exercising with weights, they think of men. Well guess what, there are a lot of female lifters out there as well and our numbers are growing. And just like men need products that can stand up to repetitive and heavy use, women do as well. And quite frankly while many of us gals may enjoy many of the same activities as men, we do tend to be a bit more concerned with protecting our bodies and these do a pretty good job of protecting the arms. For me, these work pretty well and I find them comfortable enough for the activities I do. They protect my arms from bumps, bruises, cuts and scratches and work pretty well keeping my arms supported throughout whatever activity I may be doing. Now this doesn't mean they take the place of wrist straps and such if you're doing very heavy lifts. For instance, I have pretty small wrist and these compression sleeves are pretty much worthless when it comes to adding stability to my wrists, but in those instances I just accessorize my sleeves with Schiek wrist straps which are a great accessory for any serious lifter. As I already partially mentioned these are not as tight as I might like on my wrist and upper arms, but they do a decent job at supporting and protecting my arms. I wear extra small as they seem to provide me with optimum compression and flexibility throughout my workouts. The Sparthos sizing chart is so-so in my opinion as there is always going to be some variability in sizing different portions of one's arm and the quality control on these products is not the best. It's important to watch out for manufacturing variability in the sizing. The size of the sleeves can be inconsistent one order from the next which can be a bit of a pain as you'll need to go through the process of returning and reordering and hoping you receive a product more accurate in the sizing. I have ordered the exact same size sleeves at times and found them to be much larger than the size I purchased previously. While these compression arm sleeves do protect my arms to a good extent when exercising, they are great boon to me when I'm doing another of my favorite pastimes - trekking in the wild. This is where I think they really standout. Not only do they provide your arms with support, but also with protection from all sorts of nasties like potential cuts, scratches and bruises. I can't tell you how many times I was glad I was wearing these. While these compression sleeves will give out after several months of hard use and sweat, they hold up pretty well, as least in my case. Mine get a lot of wear and tear and probably last anywhere from 3 to 6 months depending on what they are put through. Sweat seems to break down the fabric after a while, so mine don't last as long during warmer weather. My experience is that the upper compression gives out first and almost dramatically so. Having your compression sleeves sliding down your upper arms gets really annoying pretty quick. For now, until I find something better, these arm sleeves definitely have a place in my activities. I got in a motorcycle accident a few days ago and ordered these bc my arms along with my whole body quite frankly have been in a lot of pain and these offered same day shipping they are so comfortable and are giving me all the support I need in the right places especially my elbow that I think I landed on as far as sizing I think they fit perfectly so everyone talking about sizing probably didn’t measure themselves correctly tbh and if your in between a size always go down I’d say bc they are really stretchy ... show more

If you have arm pain after a long day of work or from whatever sport you do, these little gems will help. For me they make my nights relaxing and the pain from a long day fade into the background. These are a purchase I have no regrets about. One caution when ordering.... I am the smallest size but for some reason they sent me a medium which was completely unacceptable. They won't send a new set until you send the others back. This was quite odd because they normally do that so you have your product you ordered while the wrong one is on it's way back. Thus change took two stars away from Amazon.com ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The product is four stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ since it wears out a bit fast. It's definitely worth a purchase though 100% ... show more
