I would recommend this for any bass boat owner. If you have a very big boat, this may not by the one for you. My boat is 18 foot bas boat and this is just right.

    • Piece of CRAP! Cranks fine, but doesn't lock in place.

It cranks fine, and pulls the boat on to the trailer fine. HOWEVER the ratchet doesn't lock, it will overpower the back lock and unrolls with approximately 100lbs force. It's only the second time I've used it, as the boat has sat all summer. Out of warranty, so I'll have to by a different unit.... If Sparkwhiz would send another one, I would love to find out if it was just a 1 off defect and change this review to 5 star. ... show more
