1st I bought the wider collar for my dog and it was a medium. I was very happy with it but my dog is a slim 42lbs and it just looked like too much. So I bought this one. The 1in XS fits her perfectly. I was skeptical about the stitching and hype, but I was pleasantly surprised at the thickness, extra stitching, and looks. I love this collar, I got a medium 2" for my 60lb am staff. The thickness keeps my dogs neck safe when pulling. The handle is great for guiding and holding him and is wide enough for big hands. Its flexible but extremely sturdy so its perfect for naps and play. the d ring is really good material too. My favorite part is how it clips together, its very easy to take on and off. I do wish I could get it in a more reflective color like orange especially when walking near hunting areas. Great value for the cost and I highly recommend it. ... show more

We adopted a stray pitbull who was found on our road and no one claimed in Jan 25. He's a very old gentleman and I wanted something sturdy and attractive for him to wear. He has been wearing this for about 10 moths and its holding up like new even though our small terrier chewed his nice rubber ID tag off (I replaced it w metal). There's no snagging or strings coming off. It looks nice on his big old beefy neck. And the handle on the collar is perfect for directing him to go somewhere gently without having to go grab a leash. That dark green looks really good on his brindle coat too. I totally recommend this one, for your big beefy neck pooch. This summer, a stray Shepherd Heeler mic was brought to us and she is now about 60 pounds of pure ball chasing neurosis. When the little terrier chewed up her collar (its always the terrier!!) It just made sense to order this robust collar for Babs too. I ordered the bright rainbow version and got an iridescent flower shaped metal ID tag to match. So she can look pretty and her collar will still hold up to the shenanigans one expects of such an unholy breed mix. Never once has one of these failed and they hold up to a great deal of the dogs rough housing. Id recommend them for any large breed dog! ... show more

So far so good! Very well built. I have a Cane Corso (he's an Italian Mastiff, for those who aren't familiar with the breed.) The collar is well constructed and fits nice. Love the padding inside and the heavy duty handle on the collar.

Beautiful collar, 4 stars because there’s a lot less pink than the photo shows but it’s ok. My baby Pebbles is around 55 lbs and she has a very large neck, I got size large 2.2 or whatever width and it fits her perfectly. She is some kind of pocket bully, bulldog pitty mix I assume. This collar is great for these kinds of dogs because they make you feel more secure during walks and just fit them better. It is nice and thick and durable. Definitely more for outdoor wear than daily indoor wear. The safety handle is nice because my baby is kind of scared of other dogs sometimes and even bigger male humans. So holding the handle will help me make sure she and others stay safe if she feels uncomfortable. I’m unsure of her past because we found her in the streets and nobody claimed. These dogs are strong, so if your dog is a pitty or a similar mix like her, this is great. Regular collars are so easy for them to slip out of sometimes if things happen.
