This is such a useful item! Its main good point is that it folds up and takes up so little space when you're not using it. It could easily hang on a wall, it's only a couple of inches thick. But despite being a little guy it is a stongman. It rolls easily and spins in a 360 if you want it to even when it's loaded up. And it can carry a lot! I use it sometimes to move heavy concrete lawn sculptures and it has no problem. One thing I could improve is how it opens. It takes a good strong tug to the plastic, not the handle, to extend it and then you can slide out the handle and raise it. Just remember about the strong tug each time you use it, if it sits around for awhile you might forget like me. I recommend this for sure. ... show more

We bought two of these for the purpose of transporting bins and boxes while going from car to booth and vice versa at a convention. We were pleasantly surprised how much it could hold. We of course had to make multiple trips, but we were pleasantly surprised it could handle two large plastic bins from Sam’s Club (black bin w/yellow lid) because they appear to be so small even while extended. Just be sure to use the included bungee cords. Another reviewer recommended adding grip tape to the surface, we did not have time to do this but plan to do so in the future. It was easy to put together, but does take a few minutes - six wheels and two screws each. We used an electric screwdriver with an extended Phillips head which definitely helped save some time. We did have an issue with one of the hand trucks while using it the first time. One of the nuts fell off (already attached when received, not a part of assembly) and we didn’t realize it happened until it was too late to find the nut, so that was a problem! We were able to make a temporary fix with some tape, but we do need to replace it. I plan on contacting the vendor… or maybe we have one laying around! Maybe consider tightening all of the nuts around the bolts before using! Yes, as other reviews noted, the fact that the handle doesn’t lock into place is annoying, but it’s not a big deal. Also, extending the handle is a little odd, but once you get the hang of it, it’s fine. For the price of the item, we can live with these minor inconveniences. Overall, this little hand truck was pretty impressive and the best part is that it folds up and is compact and easy to carry and store! ... show more

I bought one of these myself last Spring and use it for all kinds of things - moving tubs of off season clothing from garage to house and back, moving boxes in my storage unit, moving bags of potting soil from the car to the backyard. It’s incredibly maneuverable, very compact and light weight, super easy to fold up or open up, takes up very little space, holds very heavy objects easily, and moves effortlessly. I like it so much, I bought it in blue for my sister who just moved into her new house. She’s used it often as well to move heavy boxes from one room to another. It was easy to put the casters on, which is the only assembly required, even for her who is not very adept at those sorts of things. I highly recommend this. ... show more

I bought this hand truck to help me with moving from one apartment building to another down the street. It ultimately helped get the job done, but with a lot of extra effort on my part. The bed of the hand truck is narrower than I expected, so if you are using it to transport wide objects such as storage bins, you need to ensure the object is perfectly centered or else it will spill to one side or another. When this happens, the hand truck will fall over as well and you will have to remove and reposition everything. When I would go over a bump, there was a chance of the hand truck falling over because the wheels are small and not very sturdy. A surface would need to be perfectly flat for the hand truck to roll smoothly over it. The handle is a bit flimsy as well, and I had to alternate between pushing and pulling to get the hand trunk to move. Some of these downsides are to be expected with a lower-cost item. What wasn't expected is that sometimes the screw that affixes the handle into the platform would pop out. This happened at least 8 times that I can remember during the move. At first, I freaked out because I thought I had lost the screw and the hand truck would be inoperable, but I managed to find it up the street and reaffix it easily. From then on, I was vigilant about watching for if the screw would pop out so that I could grab it and reattach it before the screw got lost (it is a fairly big screw, so easy to find if it gets lost in a vicinity that you are familiar with.) On the plus side, the platform is easy to fold as promised and is easy to store. The extra bungee cords were also helpful in transporting items. All in all, if you are looking for a hand truck for something like a move, I would recommend getting something a bit higher quality. This hand truck required a lot of extra effort and stress on my part that I do not think would have been necessary if I had gotten something a bit sturdier. However, if you are looking for something for occasional transports of narrow goods, and that needs to be easy to store, this product would probably work for your needs. I am giving it three stars because it required a lot of effort on my end, more than I think should have been necessary (especially with the screw popping out multiple times), but ultimately it did help me get my move done and I will keep it for small trips in the future. ... show more

I wanted an inexpensive folding cart to move my musical gear around with, and i ordered this with no expectations, but its not only adequate, its a great piece of gear at a bargain price. The load bearing surface is heavy duty and so are the wheels. It effortlessly rolls over cracks and joints in pavement and the design is ingenious. It folds up easily, but when the handle and base are extended they feel sturdy and solid. There is nothing about this little cart that I dont like. ... show more
