    • Assembly snag how i fixed it

After initial assembly attempt, I had a problem where the front doors overlapped each other at the close point by a good inch or so (as if they were too wide for the cabinet opening). The doors are each 12" across and the cabinet opening is a little over 24" so I knew it should fit and it had to be the hinge bracket hardware adjustment, which is mentioned in the instructions but, I couldn't figure it out quickly after attempting to adjust the screw on the hinge brackets many times. I didn't see any other reviewers mention any assembly snags, so I'm assuming it was my own ineptitude, but nevertheless, thought I'd try to explain it to potentially help anyone else who may see this same difficulty. How I got the doors to fit and close properly: The hardware hinge brackets have an adjustment screw (its easy to identify as its not like any other screw and it only fits in the intended screw thread opening on the hinge hardware). I had to remove the doors from the cabinet, lay them on the floor (with full hinge bracket assembly still attached to doors) and I had to back that adjustment screw out all the way, as far it will go without falling out, then remove the other screw that holds the slotted sliding side of the bracket (side that gets screwed into the inside wall of the cabinet on assembly) so I could slide the slotted sliding side securely over the adjustment screw on the hinge side (it basically has to slide over a little notch in the threading of the adjustment screw so it locks in place). It was this combination of removing doors from cabinet, backing out the adjustment screw all the way, re-seating the sliding slotted bracket into the notch of the adjustment screw threading, then putting it all back together - now the doors were better as the adjustment screw had been backed out far which forced the doors outward and closed the gap on the sides. This also allowed the adjustment screw to work better (i think it may have been mis-threaded initially). Hope this helps someone if they have similar issue. ... show more

    • Works well as a night stand for taller beds

I have kind of a tall bed - 30 inches to the surface, so I bought this for a night stand. It is actually pretty cool and works well for this function. It also adds a touch of style you wont get with a traditional type of night stand and has a bit more surface area on top than most night stands. I added 4 11x11x11 storage cubes to the interior in lieu of drawers and it works great. All that holds this closed is a couple of rubber stoppers. Nothing really keeps the doors from swinging open. So, care is needed when moving it. Was packaged well and delivered undamaged with all parts. It also includes a bracket as an option to screw to the wall for child safety if you find that necessary. I put it together myself in about 30 minutes. I'm not a pro, but have put quite a few pieces of furniture together in my time. ... show more

I am not crazy about most pressboard furniture but this unit was the right size and color for what I needed. It didn't need to be heavy duty. I purchased two units because of an assembly error on the first unit. It came with two types of black plastic pegs which looked very much alike but weren't. I ended up having to glue the two front strips on but got them reversed and could not install the doors. The second cabinet came with wood pegs and plastic locking pegs. The instructions are pictures only and were a little confusing. Also, the front bottom trim strip is not fastened to the bottom shelf. If you put too much weight on it the bottom would bow down. I glued a strip of wood on to keep this from happening. ... show more

    • Beautiful but flimsy

The cabinet is beautiful but it’ll probably fall apart soon. The instructions were only pictures with no written explanation. The bottom front decorative pies was cracked in the middle. The hinge bolts were too big for the hole so I was back and forth to Walmart trying to find screws that fit. I ended up filling the holes with toothpicks for some and crushed up peanut shells for the others just to get the screws in tight. Some of them wouldn’t get tight enough so one door is being propped up by a water bottle on the inside. I bought it used (although still in pieces) so I guess you get what you pay for. ... show more

    • Doors are too big and no response from company

The doors overlap when installed, by over 1/2 inch. Sent a message to company and got no response. We ended up just taking the doors off and using it with open shelves. Not too happy with this purchase.

    • Look for damage before assembling

I personally would not buy again. The top and one door were damaged. I was to lazy to pack it up and return it. I had to use a little bit of black paint to touch it up but still noticeable. Make sure you inspect every part before putting together. It is sturdy and looks great except for those two flaws. ... show more

This is very nice cabinet. It is much sturdier than I anticipated. It totally served it's purpose to clean up my printer station. I'm even more amazed that it fit perfectly in the space. I posted pictures. I'm not sure why they posted sideways, but you can see how perfectly my second printer and supplies fit well inside the cabinet. It does come with a back. I chose to leave the back off because I needed the printer cord to hang out of the back. I put it together myself, and it only took about two hours. The directions were very simple to me.     • Works for our purpose - laundry room storage

Holes for assemblage are slightly off. Cabinet isn't perfectly square - Doors don't line up (no matter how we try to adjust them). We will eventually look for a better quality cabinet, but for now, this will do. Size is exactly what we needed (laundry baskets do fit inside). Saved us time looking at every store locally.
