Giving this 5 stars for the price. I bought 2 of them to push together. 1 new, 1 used. New one came first with a ding in it, I messaged Amazon, they told me to keep it and they’d send a free replacement. The used one arrived next, it was completely broken and damaged, so we returned that for a refund. Today the free replacement arrived. It also has some dings and chips. For the price, I’m not going to complain. Overall they still look great and worth living with the dings for the price. Anyone looking for a large dresser, pushing 2 together does the trick

5 broken/damaged pieces when first received. I filled out the replacement form and had those replacements in 3 days from South Shore. It seems of South Shore sent the pieces in multiple boxes, less pieces would be damaged. Took about 2.5 hrs to assemble, not one hiccup. For $200 and for an 8 year old, I feel its good for the money as all furniture stores are nearly 3 months out on deliveries. You take what you can get.

Great looking dresser but overall useless if no utility. Construction took hours as the pieces were cheaply made and did not fit correctly. After assembly, the drawer fronts would fall off constantly. I bought wood glue but this did not help. Not to mention- the corners are razor sharp and should've been sanded down prior. The side walls of the dresser do not meet properly in the rear, meaning the drawers cannot glide across the tracks. Seller won't get back to me. Does not work. Don't waste your money.

I like the look of the dresser. It has remained intact through several moves. Sturdy enough. It takes a bit to assemble unless you are really good at reading diagrams. Instructions are very detailed. Great customer service. As most of the other reviews say, the drawers only fit in specific spots (otherwise it looks wonky). So, if it looks wrong, you did it wrong. Also, be mindful of the drawer bottoms, they are a bit thin.

I really liked the black edges and the wood toned drawers but it was a little confusing to put together and when it was all said and done the drawers were very uneven. I really like the way the colors look in our room however it bugs me a bit that it’s not very even.

I am so happy with this dresser! I was a little worried since this one and the matching dresser (5 drawer taller version) had some negative reviews but I purchased both anyways and I'm so glad I did! It looks fantastic and is a good deal. A few things to note.. When you put in the drawers need to go in a certain order. I wish they were marked. I started to put drawers in and realized they weren't fitting correctly. Switched some drawers around and realized the face on some are longer on one side to cover the center. It is made of compressed wood. Not an issue for me and it was expected given the price. But good to know in advance. You must put together yourself. Again not an issue for me as I enjoy the challenge. But if you aren't good with following just visual directions (no descriptions just pictures) than maybe have someone help. The package is large and a little over 100 lbs so you will need help moving and unpacking it. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. I have been using it for a few months now and haven't had any issues. UPDATE: 4 years later and I’m still very happy. The bottom fell out on one drawer and I had to fix it but that is my own fault for overstuffing the drawers with bulky sweaters. It had my 43 inch tv on it for a couple years before I mounted it and didn’t bow or show any signs of stress from the weight. Still would recommend this!

I was a little worried about all the bad reviews, but I really love this dresser. It is a lot bigger than I had imagined, but it is a good size. I put it together myself so it did take a while, but the directions were pretty easy to follow and I didn't have any trouble with it. I will say there were a few scratches on the wood, nothing too bad so it doesn't bug me too much. It smells very woodsy to me, I don't know about the wood quality and all that, all I know is that it works for me and seems sturdy and besides the few scratches it is in good condition. It matches my room very well and overall I'm happy with it.

Came with Missing and broken pieces so had to wait to assemble then Originally tried to put it together my self not doing that again lol but once I hired someone came along just fine , I’m still missing a back piece that never came with it but the end result is a little unsteady but it looks great
