I haven't yet used it in the shower, but I could clearly hear it in the kitchen while I was washing dishes. It looks like it is secure for using in a shower environment. I'm not sure about under water, but it certainly looks like it can take some splashing. One down side is it appeared to stop audio when I plugged it in to charge up. But I just got it a couple hours ago, I will update if this attribute changes. // Yep, won't play when plugged in to charge, but works in all other ways, including in the shower. I don't have flat tiles so it has to get splashed quite a lot in the shower holder. Works great! And sound is very rich. July 14, 2016 UPDATE: I have used this speaker daily since it arrived and it DOES work great, as described, works great in the shower, has greater sound (higher volume also) than my original water proof speaker purchased 3 years ago. (The sound on streaming media can be very quiet and I need this speaker to be heard over both AC at full blast and running water.) I appreciate the many and frequent beeps letting me know the battery is dying so I have PLENTY of time to plug it in or otherwise adjust my entertainment. The only downside is it will not play while charging. I can understand this from a "water proofing" perspective, but I also use this speaker paired with my phone to listen to media in my car and bedroom - and my AC is quite loud, it would be helpful to be able to hear things while the speaker is charging.     • Works well, sounds good--and easy to fix if you break something.
This thing is great. Simple to pair, charges well, keeps a charge for a while (I only use it about 10 minutes a day) and the usb charger is convenient--heck I'm charging it at the computer while I write this. I've not tested the range, but both places I've used it (hotel shower and home shower) were adjacent to the rooms I kept the paired phone in. The suction cup is great. When I'm done in the shower, I take it to the sink and stick it to the mirror while I shave. Volume controls are a bit tricky, but only because sometimes I skip a song I really like when I mean to be turning it up. However, that issue exists in lots of other devices that we use with our phones--like headphones with in-line controls--so perhaps that's just something I'll have to get past. One thing I know now that I wish I'd know before I received it: The port cover for the charging cord is a bit delicate. The first time I used it, I walked it out of the bathroom and set it next to my computer to plug it in. I opened the cover and moved it aside to plug it in, but didn't take the necessary care. As a result, the cover came off. The cover is a simple flap of pliable material (silicon/rubber?) affixed to the unit with a flanged peg. However, that peg is similarly flexible, so once removed, the only way to reconnect it is to disassemble the unit, insert the cover peg part-way and pull it through until it locks in place. I did so, and haven't had any issue with it since. It's worth pointing out that I could probably have sent it back, but repairing it was a mere couple of minute's work and a much faster solution than any postal service would've provided. ... show more

Works pretty well, definitely portable, bright color, easy to use and connect to Bluetooth, sticks on the wall with a suction cup. The suction cup isn’t the best and it sometimes would fall off into the shower but it was a great purchase and had good sound quality for such a low price. The charger ended up breaking so I couldn’t charge it anymore :( ... show more

I bought this to use in the shower. I like to listen to podcasts or music in the shower. This speaker works great and it is easy to charge. It is easy to hook up via bluetooth. I bought the pink and it is a nice color. It is small and I stick it to the shower wall.

the sound quality isn’t the best but i don’t expect much from a speaker I can take into the shower with me and I love it! My only issue is that there’s a delay between song changes and you miss the first one or two seconds of the next song. Which doesn’t sound like a huge deal but it’s actually pretty unsatisfying. The battery life is pretty good but I only use it in the shower and my showers are almost never longer than 30 min. Despite the low quality sound and the weird delay I would still recommend this. Keep it on my shower wall. Able to listen to music or take a phone call with little extra effort. Be aware though that the other person is able to hear the water.

    • Stopped Working after it fell in water
It was very good for 2 weeks until it stopped working the day after it fell in water. Yes it is charged yes it connected to my phone but it wouldn’t make the turning on or off sound anymore and I couldn’t hear my music.
