Soundboks battery almost burnt my house down! My battery for this speaker began leaking toxic fumes that smelled like nail polish and gave me a strong headache. The battery had swollen and was going to explode soon. Surely customer service did something to rectify such a dangerous situation their product put me in right? Had I not been home would they have killed my 3 cats? Nope, customer service happily tells me the warranty is expired so you're out of luck. Sorry our product could have killed you. Now buy a brand new expensive battery. Ridiculous. I promoted these speakers for years but now I can't even use mine outdoors anymore. I really thought Soundboks would respond positively to such a nearly tragic scenario but they have lost my confidence and my faith. Find a better company who does right by their customers and cares about their well being. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this directly from the soundboks website. This speaker sounds phenomenal. I've been repeatedly blown away by the sound quality and the way the speaker cuts through the noise at my job. Almost never have to go over 8 on the volume. The battery lasted me around 25 hrs my first charge. Only downsides are it's cost, size, and it's very directional sound wise. Personally I think it was worth the price I paid. It also may be huge but it's actually not as heavy as it looks. ... show more
