(And maybe haven't dealt with VESA mounts before). In my case, my large TV was already connected to a wall mount via its VESA mount screws. While you might decide that what you need to do is to remove the TV from the wall mount and then put it back, I was lazy (also, it's a 75" TV and I'm alone), so what I did was basically remove one screw at a time, and put in this mount between the wall mount and the TV. As a result, I never took the TV off the mount, and the installation was, frankly, breathtakingly easy and fast. 5 minutes, 10 tops. Comes delightfully packaged with a surplus of all the hardware you might need or want, including disposable tools in case you don't have your own, you know, screwdriver. But seriously, why don't you have your own screwdriver? You should have a screwdriver. You COULD pay $150 for the Sonos-branded TV mount, but ... why would you? Super happy with this.

This mount works great with one exception. The Ethernet port is covered so if you have a smaller or flexible RJ45 it may not fit.

The vertical arms need to be a little longer, can only reach one set of mounting holes on 55” and 65” Sony TVs so can’t secure as good as I’d like but they are holding up and easy to install
