I ordered this LED light globe to put in my home office, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. It genuinely looks even nicer than it does in the provided pictures. It actually exceeded my expectations. And that’s because not only does it seem to be made pretty well, it’s very pretty too. Like I said, the provided pictures don’t fully convey its very attractive. appearance. The entire surface of the globe is quite glossy, and the LED lighting *evenly* lights the entire globe. And it glows in a far more vivid blue than the pictures lead you to believe. So, the bottom line here is that I am very happy with this lighted globe. And I am virtually certain that you will be very happy with it too. It really is a very handsome globe. This is a beautiful globe. We got it for my son who is very interested in the Earth and how the planets work. He has a natural curiosity of the stars as well. When I saw this globe not only functioned as a globe but also had light up constellations I was sold. It is really cool and he loves it. He has spent a lot of time looking at it both during the day and at night time. I do think that for the price point the craftsmanship could be better. It is gorgeous but there are just little things that make me wonder how carefully this was constructed. Overall this is beautiful and educational. We're happy with it.

We keep this globe accessible to the kids on an end table in our living room, and it is surprising how much they have learned from it in just a few weeks. Not just what the names of some smaller countries are and the capitol city, but the whole concept of continents, countries, and states in general. There is something about seeing how all of these countries fit together as a part of one world that is hard to define or teach otherwise. The constellations are cool also, and the globe design allows for the globe to rotate while plugged in and with the stars turned on. You just have to understand that the constellations on the globe demonstrate how stars move across the sky as the world turns, and it is not saying that the big dipper is permanently over Africa.
