    • Clear voices, deep base, detachable speakers and Bluetooth connectivity for under $100 !

Review Image by Mike F.
I wanted to upgrade the sound on my 55 inch Samsung TV in the master bedroom, withouth going for an expensive setup like in the living room...The best thing about this sound bar is the versatility it offers for the price point. There are four ways to connect this system to a TV: Optical wire, HDMI wire, Aux wire and Bluetooth. I went for a completely wireless setup, and have the system Bluetooth connected strait to my TV which so far, has given me no lag or distortion of any kind when viewing movies and shows. The small downside is that I have to use the supplied remote control to turn the system on and off separately to the TV, but if I use the supplied HDMI cord, plugged into the eArc HDMI port on the TV, the system turns on and off with the TV remote. A small sacrifice not to have to run an hdmi cord behind the wall to keep my wireless look... I have the soundbar separated, with each half standing on an opposite dresser on each side of the tv. They are far apart, and require a wired connection between the two speakers, which is built into the base for each side, as they are not independently powered, which would have been awesome but probably more expensive to do... I did have to cut the speaker wire connecting the 2 bases and add a few feet of wire to allow the 2 speakers to reach across the width of my bedroom for the way I wanted to set them up. This will NOT be necessary if you have a smaller room, or keep the speakers closer together, or intend to use the soundbar as a complete bar without splitting up the speakers. The woofer is not connected to the system by Bluetooth but the wire it connects with is VERY long and easily hidden since the woofer sits on the floor. There are many installation options with this system. THE SOUND IS AMAZING FOR THIS SIZE AND PRICE POINT. This system rivals the sound on the expensive Samsung sound bar and woofer system that I use downstairs in the living room. The remote has a large button in the center you press to toggle between a quiet mode for night time or a surround sound mode for full volume and effect. The speakers are clear even at full volume, which is far too loud for my bedroom, and voices are not drowned out in movies and shows. The woofer has deep base that you feel in your bones when you turn up the independently controlled volume on it via the remote. Feels nice to drift off to a sleep sounds video and feel all the vibrations I never felt from the TV speakers alone. I'd say this is the perfect versitile speaker system for anyone trying to improve their tv's sound in a small to medium size room, with Bluetooth connectivity and deep base on a budget of around $100. ... show more

    • Well balance sound system and an excellent value
Color: Black
This speaker package, including the bass speaker was like a set i had purchased many years ago at a local sound shop where i paid three times what i paid for this one. It is not a cheap plastic lightweight set that i would have expected in this price range. The packaging was well thought out and would survive even the most extreme handling. The Bass speaker delivers a nice boom even at the lower volume and the speakers themselves offer a nice, rounded sound with the perfect low middle and high sound balance. It was very easy to set up and is what i am currently using for my desktop PC. I do love listening to music but i would not say that i am an expert so i cannot comment on the technical aspects of the set but i can say that i am very happy with the sound and would buy it again. I do recommend this if it fits your budget and to date i have not found a better setup for my home PC. As a bonus it is nice to have the remote to really dial in the perfect sound but for me it is not necessary to get the sound that i like. I would say that i was pleasantly surprised with this purchase and honestly would not suggest you look any further even if you have to spend just a little more than you had planned on. Even with my mp3 files i am getting more intricate, i guess i would call it, sounds from music i have had on my hard drive for years. Super happy with this sound system. ... show more

Color: Black
Incredible performance and very punchy subwoofer. This speaker subwoofer combines made a huge impact on how I consume media. Music feels a lot more alive and watching movies and playing video games makes feels a lot more immersive. There’s many ways to connect this speaker to many other devices in different connection options. The stands and wall hanger hooks make the installation quick and very easy to install. It’s a steal of a product and definitely worth a purchase. ... show more

    • No Power, Bad Return Policy
Color: Black
What a bummer. The soundbar initially didn't power up setup as separated speakers. No power light, so I took it apart and reassembled and the light came on. Thinking it was all good, I attached it to my wall mounted TV via the arc cable, which wasn't easy. I plugged it in hoping for a wonderful experience and guess what, no power again. I spent another hour troubleshooting it but no good. I decided to return it and packed it up carefully with everything Included. I returned the package via UPS a week ago and Amazon still shows it enroute. There saying if it's not returned in perfect condition I won't get a refund. Well, to whomever, it doesn't work, so it's anything but perfect. My recommendation, don't risk buying this soundbar. ... show more

    • Not easy to connect
Color: Black
I disagree with the reviews that say it is easy to install. I couldn't use HMIarc or Opt connection. Eventually my TV accepted Bluetooth, but it took several hours. For an LG TV, go to advanced sound settings and play around with different settings. Have the TV search for the sound bar. Mine eventually located KY8000E. I think you can enter KY8000E manually. Bluetooth with TV sound is not good since it sounded like an echo. Just use Bluetooth without the TV speakers. I like the sound but my wife doesn't. Certainly a great price for decent sound. ... show more

    • Great value sound bar.
Color: Black
I didn't know what to expect for $89 as I have purchased value priced sound equipment in the past and they all sounded tinny. This unit can be split left and right or assembled as one and mounted under the tv. I put the sub on the floor and got yelled at from upstairs because it was shaking the whole house, til I figured how to turn down the bass. Connection was easy and there are multiple ways to connect and all wiring is included. Would definitely recommend this item for someone looking to enhance the sound of a big screen for not a lot of money. ... show more
