This was an attempt to salvage my Sony sound bar that was not powering up like it should have. Thinking it might have been an issue with the remote control, this replacement was at a price that was worth trying. Unfortunately it was not the solution so I ended up just replacing the sound bar.

No need to program. Installed the battery and powered on. Used it for the Sony speaker system model no. SS-CT150. BUTTONS of power, volume, muting and surroung/mode worked. The treble and bass buttons didn't work. Better than having no remote since I don't have to go to the subwoofer to operate the functions of the working buttons. ... show more
