Not even tried reel out yet but just feeling how its made very nice so smooth and a few pluses 12+1 bearing system and a 5.2:1 gear ratio also 18 kg = 39 lb. in drag very impressed with this reel and not to mention there's a sound device for the drag very nice touch bought one 200 series then bought another 2000 series one on a Berkley 7’ Cherrywood HD Spinning Rod,2 Piece Spinning Rod, 6-14lb Line and other rod is a Aglirino Rod 7'0" med lite 2 Piece 24T+30T Carbon Fiber Fishing Rod 8- 16 line wight then for my The Shakespeare® Micro™ Series Rods 4 - 10 lb. Line wight 7 foot rods purchased 2 of the same reel but in 1000 size spooled the 2000 with 20 pound braid and the 1000 with 10 pound braid recommend very highly been fishing for over 30 years so reel is a true winner in my book Sougayilang a great company prob over time replace all my reels with different sizes of theses reels defiantly well worth the price ranks up there with daiwa and other high end reels well just my opinion

Inexpensive reel for crappie fishing. Actually larger than what I expected. I was able to get 200 yards of 6 pd mono on it with room to spare. Seems to cast well and seems well made. Smooth, and retrieves well. It won’t get a lot of use so it should be fine.

Model 1000: Very smooth and appears well built, to include a thick bail. Time will tell on how durable this reel is. For the price I will be happy if we get a year's use. We live near the coast and fish year round so I am interested to see how if it resists corrosion even though we religiously clean our hear after each use..
