I was surprised at how stiff this rod of this Rod & Reel Combo is I purchased it for my young nephew who wanted his own rod & reel this year instead of borrowing other family members rod & reel combos. I've purchased other equipment from Sougayilang so when I saw this as a nice combo I thought It would be a good chance to grab it for my nephew to fish with it this year. I won't give the rod a negative rating based on the feel I'm going to see what type of action my nephew gets from using it in the next couple of weeks and come back to give a much more in depth review. This Combo has a unique coloring, I've lined it with an ultra monofilament 13lb test line and its ready for action. The price point notably does not make this appealing compared to some other comparable rod & reel combos available. Again not going to knock it until its tried and true to its first fish. I'll be back to update this review after its first outing after my nephews first use of this hopefully hooking into his first big fish...and this hold up. but right now this seems cheesy. ... show more

The pole looks nice but durability sucks…. Put a 1/4 oz weight on it for bottom fishing and the first cast the pole snaps in half so couldnt even use it very dissapointed

The product is beautiful looking but not functional. My husband got snagged on a weed, pulled back lightly and the top half of the pole exploded. He is lucky he wasn't hurt. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
