*** update. This is the biggest waste of money. First rod started cracking after 3 uses. Asked for a replacement. The replacement rod showed up and the tip was broken off. Also the original reel fell apart. Ignore this package and go to Cabelas or BPS and spend the money for a decent rod. I will not be purchasing any Abu Garcia items in the future. I bought this at the beginning of August, less than a month ago. I've used maybe 3 times. Yesterday I noticed the rod was beginning to crack. It's been stored indoors and I've caught maybe 4 fish on it. The rod good until the cracking started. Overall I wish I had spent a bit more and gone with something of a higher quality. ... show more

Abu has sacrificed some of the quality in this product. I bet most people who buy this set up won’t notice but if you are an experienced angler you’re better off spending a little more for a higher quality series. Had to send the first one back because the bail fell off out of nowhere.
