I hesitated on purchasing this because of the price, but you can't really put a price on safety. I feel so stable on this. The top handle helps a lot because I don't feel like I'm swaying at the top of the ladder. This ladder is also so beautifully built - I used it at least 10 times yesterday and even though I folded it away, it looked great in the kitchen. It's not terribly heavy, but it probably could not feasibly be made lighter to keep the construction sturdy. ... show more

This little step stool is thin enough it can be stored in a very narrow place. Yay. It’s light and easy to set up ( no more pinched fingers). So handy to have in my kitchen. It’s very sturdy and just tall enough so I can reach to the back of tall cupboards. I saw one line it in a specialty store. That one was very expensive ($250). I wanted this to hang on the wall in my new laundry room off my kitchen to reach high cabinets. The ladder will be seen when the door is open so I wanted something more sculptural and high end than an ordinary step ladder. This is perfect. Not as light weight as my rubbermade aluminum ladder but much more stylish and much lighter than most. Seems quite sturdy and well made. Folds and unfolds easily. I deducted one star because the first ladder i received was dented. Box was OK but a dent in the top bar. Amazon had a replacement to me within days however I had to go through the hassle of getting it to the UPS store for the return. ... show more
