I’m impressed by the visual effect of this fireplace. The animation looks so real and the heat works really well too. As you can see, the packaging is second to none. The foams are not flimsy as some others, instead it is extremely solid and firm with hard plastic corner protectors over the styrofoams. The box is super rigid and stiff too. Packaging to me is extremely important especially for heavy items. The glass part is also well protected by extra pieces of solid foams. Back to the product….. i picked this because it is super slim so that I can have my contractor install it in my thin dividing wall. I’ve actually bought another one that I had to return because it was way too thick for my application. The remote is full function and I’m able to adjust all options from it. I can’t say enough about how happy I am of this purchase and I can’t wait for the final install in my living room. I’m also looking at their smaller version for my bedroom!

The media could not be loaded. I had ordered a couple of these electric fireplaces as I was torn between this one for $500+ and the Silon brand fireplace for $200. The cheaper of the two was nothing at all like the pictures advertised on Amazon. I’m pretty sure those were all Photoshop because the actual flames looked nothing like what was on the Amazon posting. I received this fireplace a few days after the Silon brand, and I could tell, just pulling it out of the box that this was a higher quality fireplace. It weighed more than twice as much packaging was nicer, and it just looked much more expensive before even turning it on. As far as the flames go, incredibly realistic, hundreds of settings to choose from, as you can customize the flame color, the height, even all the way down to the flame speed, you can do combinations of blue and orange or red and orange. You can also change the color and the brightness of the media bed where the glass crystals go. And of course, has a heater function and a timer that you can set for up to several Hours. Well, I can’t speak to the reliability of this Fireplace. I will tell you that the bill quality and performance for exceeds my expectation and it is most definitely worth the additional money of the less expensive Fireplace. This was actually purchased for a client of mine and I was just testing it out before installing at their house so I apologize that the reviews do not have it set up with the glass crystals and/or the logs installed. But I know once those are installed it would improve the realism of this fireplace even more so. I spent hours reading reviews and comparing different fireplaces and I am super happy with the selection. I will be sending the Silon brand back for a refund as it was not accurately depicted in the Amazon ad. I know this is more than twice the price of the cheaper models out there, but I will honestly say that this Fireplace performs as well or better than similar models that are sold at my local Fireplace supplier with prices ranging from $2500 - $6500.

The media could not be loaded. I brought the upgrade thinking it would be worth the extra $$ but it did not turn out that way. The fireplace arrived in a well packed box however the first thing I noticed was the bezel was all marked up with scratches and dinings. I followed the install instructions to the letter and plugged it in. At first it looked OK but then I noticed the left end flame was flicker in and out (see video) I unplugged it and did a reset but it did not fix the issue. I contacted the seller and shared the video and was told "That's Normal" there's nothing wrong. I then contacted a Fireplace Service Company and shared the video and they assured me that was not normal and there was an issue with the LED controller. They also told me in a nice way that the fireplace was cheaply made and not worth fixing. The seller did finally agree to fully refund me but did not want the fireplace back so now I'm stuck with trying to dispose of there garbage. Long story short DO NOT BUY!! Best option Modern Flames SPS-74B or LPS-6814

Purchased this based on price point, reviews, and availability. This arrived a week ahead of forecast. I built a floating box to insert the unit and I think it turned out well. Sat and watched the flames last night.... relaxing. Easy to mount in the box. Putting in screws to secure the glass was challenging. I used sheet rock screws and a 90 degree drill head....the angle didn't work for screwdriver or long extension.

Looks pretty slick in the wall, puts off enough heat to help on really cold evenings and sets the ambiance. At first the remote wouldnt work, but I had already installed and somehow the remote works now after a few hours of being plugged in.

I loved it so much I bought two more. Heats my 400 sqft space without an issue. It's been over a year since I bought mine and all 3 still work as they did when new. I currently have one in a 200 sqft space and it gets toasty fast. It helps heat my home and keeps us warm even when temps drop below 0!
