I searched long and hard, reading peoples reviews of the less expensive buggies. It seemed like you get what you pay for. The reviews on this were all pretty good. I read several where the Dad's say 'My kid has had this for 2 or 3 years now, and it's held up well.' That looked good to me, so I ordered one for my 5 year old granddaughter. 'Some assembly is required' Anyone, I mean anyone can put this together. I recommend to read the instructions once, then find a YouTube video (The company has them on it's site, social media etc.) Use the video to assemble and just stop at each step. To me, having put a lot of furniture and toys together of the years, this buggy was clearly designed to be easy to assemble. They got an extra bonus point to me, by including extra screws, nuts etc. (For those of us that always drop that 'critical' screw and can't find it.) Once it was put together, I charged the battery (Which is about the size of a small automobile battery) overnight. In the morning the little one was learning how to drive. The included remote control works quite well. However, you can't use the remote if the occupant is driving and vice versa. On the second day, my Five year old granddaughter was driving on her own and not running into tree's, shrubs etc. The drivers seat is adjustable for different length legs. My granddaughter told me several days in a row how she LOVES her new car. The battery lasted two days of riding, and takes about 8-10 hours to charge. (That's not all day of course, but a couple hours of on and off again riding each day) Hopefully it lasts for a few years until she is old enough to ride a real gas powered go cart. It has 'four wheel drive' What it really has is a separate motor for each front wheel. The rear axle has its own motor which power both wheels. This is how a Jeeps 'Lockers' work, they lock the front/rear axles into a mode where the wheels turn whether they are on the ground or not. I've watched her on a hill in my yard where the left read wheel has traction but the right rear wheel is spinning in the air. She rides on my 1.5 acre yard of bumpy grass and a few little hills and ramps to my workshop. I ordered her the pink one. Now, What are the cons? I think the only con is, it only handles weight up to 135 pounds so I don't get to ride in it. :-) After owning for one week, and my Granddaughter riding it 4 times, I have nothing bad to say about this buggy. (Neither does my granddaughter) ... show more

Kids love it! It has great range. We’ve travelled 1.25 miles in hilly terrain with no issues. I’m not sure how long much long it would last, as we didn’t want to get stuck somewhere. Customer service is EXCELLENT! One of the motors broke, and they sent replacements out promptly! Do not let your little one try to steer while it’s in remote control mode. My toddler LOVES it. The remote functionality is great for parents, you can link your music from your phone, there are functioning lights for when its dark out and its roomy enough for 2 kiddos. One thing that I wish there was is a battery life indicator.
