    • Unsafe and not functional.
This product is unsafe. The guides started to get stuck randomly which made it difficult to push up during my sets,. I attempted to lubricate the bar with oil in hopes that his could reduce the traction between the bar and guard. I kept working the motion without any weight to make sure the machine would not get stuck while an actual set. In one of the test the bar got stuck, and as I got out of the squat position the bar became free, and hit the back of my head. The product is sturdy, and easy to assemble but the guide mechanism is not functional and it's not usable. ... show more

    • Do not buy! You will get physically harmed !!
The objective of the smith machine is that it locks itself in order to prevent any major harm… well this one doesn’t, but besides, it’s so light that when you try to go up in the squat…. You literally go up with the whole machine on your shoulders, it’s terrible, I’ve been with horrible back pain for a whole week after I used it for the very first time! With just 45lb on each side(I use 4x45 on each side at crunch) I’m well trained and I know how to use it perfectly… but again! Is too light, i doesn’t stick to the floor and doesn’t have any way to screw it to the floor… a waist of time and money!! The first squat, I went down fine and when I tried to go up and lock it on its place the whole machine went up with me and I had to drop everything, I hit my back with it and I can barely move, it’s terrible! The media could not be loaded. writing this review to prevent others from wasting their time and literally getting scammed, I ordered this product and high hopes that it was going to be a well decent product you know doing what a normal Smith’s machine should do. we spent about 4 to 5 hours setting it up And once we tried to use it would tilt to the left and right when I tried putting it back it didn’t align with the holes.m i had to get help and now it’s stuck terrible product. ... show more
