It was easy to assemble, and it feels solid. I have on it 6x45lb, 1x25lb, 1x10lb, and 6x2.5lb = 320lb total. The only downside is that the plastic caps on the end of the metal tubes keep falling off. You could probably glue them on, but I'm just leaving them off as they fall off.

I bought this thing used and one washer was missing. No problem since I have plenty of hardware in my toolbox. The pegs themselves are the same diameter as Olympic bars so you would have to compress springs if you want to store your springs on the tree. I currently store 6x45 on the bottom pegs, 2x35, and 2x35 on the middle pegs, and 2x10 on one of the top peg (above the 2x25). The peg above the 2x35 is unusable so I have to store my 2x5 somewhere else. ... show more

Nice dirty product easy to put together. The big problem is you can only fit three 45 lb plates or qty 3 35 lb plates on the tree Most plate sets come in even numbers So I have to put the fourth plate of the 35 and 45 on the ground

    • Space saving appearance. Great quality.
This is a very nice and strong plate tree. How the plate tree is designed creates the illusion it's using less space than it is. In my home gym I placed the opened end against the wall, heaviest at the bottom to lightest at the top. When you see it, the plates do not seem to intrusive and the angle of the plate tree does this for you. One small thing is the end caps, when I'm pulling plates off, sometimes they want to pop off and you have to tap them back in. I feel this could be fixed with some glue, but haven't done this yet. ... show more

This was my second one of these trees. I had the first for years, but it went missing from the moving van when we moved. Easy to assemble. Sturdy and holds all the weights I have. 2x45s and 2x10 bumper plates on the bottom right. 2x25s on the bottom left. 2x25s on the middle right, though these could hold more. 4x10s on the middle left. 4x5s on upper right. 2x2.5s on the upper left. ... show more

Easy to assemble, wasn't missing any nuts/bolts/washers like the other reviewer (thankfully), and I have over 500 lbs of plates on it now, and it holds up very well, and seems VERY sturdy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's pictured with spring collars, and there WEREN'T ANY. I was expecting them to come with the product, to ensure safety (so the plates don't get knocked off if someone bumps into it hard). Oh well. Still, very sturdy, and great price. ... show more
