Look I am a cargo shorts guy but apparently they are out according to social media. I decided to switch to something a bit more cool to impress my kids. These feel great, I was impressed with the material and feel overall. I am about 6' 1" 250. I got some mid area dad bod going on and I ordered the 38s which is what I go with usually. I can get them buttoned but I thought I coulda used the 40 which did nothing for my self esteem. I decided to suck it up and start taking the stairs more instead of returning them , it was that close. If they were a 38 and a half I would be great. The front pocket is a little shallow so don't plan on doing the discrete adjustments you are accustom to with cargos. Bottom line, 5 star on quality and style. 4.5 on shallow pocket and slightly small waste. I am buying more ... show more

Really like the zippered side pocket that fits my cell phone exactly, and is up high rather than hanging low when I put it in my regular pants pockets. The side pockets are not that deep so be careful of loosing things when you pull out your car keys.
