Look I am a cargo shorts guy but apparently they are out according to social media. I decided to switch to something a bit more cool to impress my kids. These feel great, I was impressed with the material and feel overall. I am about 6' 1" 250. I got some mid area dad bod going on and I ordered the 38s which is what I go with usually. I can get them buttoned but I thought I coulda used the 40 which did nothing for my self esteem. I decided to suck it up and start taking the stairs more instead of returning them , it was that close. If they were a 38 and a half I would be great. The front pocket is a little shallow so don't plan on doing the discrete adjustments you are accustom to with cargos. Bottom line, 5 star on quality and style. 4.5 on shallow pocket and slightly small waste. I am buying more ... show more

Really like the zippered side pocket that fits my cell phone exactly, and is up high rather than hanging low when I put it in my regular pants pockets. The side pockets are not that deep so be careful of loosing things when you pull out your car keys. All in all these fare nice shorts and my wife likes the way I look in them…and I like that! ... show more

I purchased these shorts in white and the fit and look was nice. I forgot that white shows dirt quite well and so I'm not sure I would select that color again any time soon. I would have liked this short better if the pockets were 1 to 2" deeper. If I put my cell phone in my front pocket, the corner of phone sticks out a little and so a little deeper pocket would be a great improvement. ... show more

I ordered a 34 inch waist. Product came and label said 34 inch waist. However, these shorts were maybe a 30 inch waist...not even close. Pain to have to return!
