I have over $100,000 worth of film equipment and I needed some black stands. These were priced very well didn’t expect much but I think they’re a wonderful product. I have C stands that are much heavier and probably sturdier, but these stands are great. They are sturdy enough for anything you need to put on it and anything that is powder coated is going to chip at some point so some of these other people need to get over themselves lol. The stands seam pretty sturdy and fold up easily for storage. My only concern is the plastic parts around the joints and plastic handles. I have only previously used all metal stands so it will be interesting to see how these hold up. They should be fine for a small studio set up but I wouldn’t want to use them for a large scale production.

I expected them to be flimsy and light, but they truly lived up to the name "heavy-duty." I prefer the matt-black finish over the usual stainless-steel/aluminum shine.
