These sound really good but they are not really good for bass frequencies. I have other brands that excel at bass but sound inferior. If you value vocals, and high frequency at a good price these are excellent. I do recommend using a crossover or filter at around 120 to 150Hz to reduce the lower frequencies. ... show more

These Sony speakers fall a little short of my expectations. My biggest problem is the size. the speaker is not 61/2" as listed the frame is 61/2" the speaker itself if only 4". Don't get me wrong, they do sound good, just not great. I'm going to try to pair them with a larger set and a sub.
