    • Quiet is good
After overcoming a couple of installation challenges it's a very quiet and nice looking addition to our kitchen. The electrical cable from our old dishwasher came up through the floor and connected directly to the underside of it. The new Bosch has a junction box that has to be mounted to the wall of an adjacent cabinet because it connects to the back of the dishwasher with a plug type connector. Not very difficult but still a pain, I also had to change the 20a breaker to a 15a in the service box. The Bosch is very quiet and cleans better than the Maytag it replaced. The only thing we miss on the Maytag is the flat bottom rack without tines that allowed large dishes and pots. The Bosch has an upper rack for silverware and large flat utensils but it's not as useful to us as the lower rack in the Maytag. I've read other reviews that mentioned the dishes do not get completely dry at the end of the wash cycle but that has not been an issue for us. So far we're happy and enjoy using the Bosch. ... show more

I’ve had my dishwasher for 5 years or so. It still is working great. Very quiet dishwasher. I have turned it on while watching tv and you can’t hear it at all. It does have a long run time but the dishes come out clean. It was a great investment for the house. If I move I will buy another one for my new house. ... show more

It installed without trouble and is running great. The best news? It is extremely quiet. Late at night with the house quiet, I can hear it making low groans if I am in the room, otherwise it is undetectable. (laughing out loud), the review wants me to mention its thickness, sheerness and warmth, not exactly characteristics of a dishwasher. Something is akimbo. The dishwasher fully satisfies me, and more importantly, my wife. PS: look closely. There is a thin shelf at the top designed for washing the silverware. Easy to miss at first. ... show more

    • Quiet and well worth the money!
I like that it's very quiet. It cannot be heard from 20 ft away. A great value and looks good in my kitchen. One minor problem is that the interior of the machine does not dry completely after washing a load of dishes. You need to leave the door ajar for several hours after the wash/dry cycle has completed. ... show more

Dishwasher is very quiet. That was a major factor in choosing this model. Cleans very well. Instruction manual was clear and made it easy to install by myself and my brother-in-law. I do recommend that a second person be on hand to double check and assist moving the unit.

Washer is extremely quiet. Standing next to it, if it wasn't for the panel lights, you would hardly know it was washing. It does an excellent job of cleaning. The one defect, although not major, is that it doesn't dry totally. If an item, such as coffee cups which have lips on the bottom, are not tilted so that all of the water drains, the item will not be dry when the cycle is finished. ... show more

    • QUIET!
We've only had it for a week but we sure like it. Had a 20 year old top-of-the-line Kitchenaid that finally bit the dust. Consumer Reports recommended this so we rolled the dice. IT IS QUIET! Like, "is it on?" quiet!! We'll have to see how it holds up but for now we're very pleased.
