I used a loopback harness to wire this amp between the radio and speakers on my non-Bose 2020 GMC Canyon. While this amp doesn't put out a crazy amount of power it was more than enough to "wake up" the speakers in my truck and provide a much fuller listening experience. A huge plus is that the lower power requirements for this amp meant I could power it directly off one of the power wires for my radio.

I purchased this small discreet amp with not much expectations but WOW this thing can be tucked away and hidden just about anywhere I wasn't expecting much as Sony has gone in the wrong direction a few years ago in quality hifi equipment but this little brick packs some punch it sounds great and out performs in my opinion and I'm pretty hard to please when it come to audio equipment I hooked it up to a Joying 10.1 Android HU install was easy and didn't have to run a remote wire if you are not going to run a sub and don't want to tear your truck apart to install a bigger amp and just looking to boost a stock HU this is your ticket Very pleased

Very easy to install, doesn't require a large gauge power or ground and provides really nice sound. It's also tiny. I knew it was small, but pictures don't really show just how small. This amp does not have a gain control, so this is a good option for the car audio novice, it is truly plug and play.

Bought a used 2010 Honda Accord and wanted to upgrade the factory stereo. Installed this amp inside the dash behind a new Sony head unit. The small size makes it easy to install. Also installed dedicated 12 gauge power directly from the battery. Matched to new Kicker speakers front and rear. This amp increases dynamic range and punch and around double the output over just the head unit. Amp does not get warm even when pushed hard. Unit appears high quality and solidly built.

It increased the base in my front speakers and didn't reduce the quality of sound. But it doesn't increase the back speakers of toyota tacoma .

I bought this amp to install on my motorcycle. The factory sound system only make 14 watts per channel. I installed new speakers rated at 50 watts each and they sounded terrible as an upgrade. I bought this amp and it was perfect. It fit next to the factory radio module under the factory fairing. All the wires I needed were right there. Not an easy install but it sounds amazing now and did not take any room on my bike away from me.

this little amazing amp will make your factory sound system 3 times better i tried on 2024 toyota tundra w/o jbl with plug and play adapter it’s very easy to install behind the glove box or behind the head unit

I got this because I didn't want to fill my trunk full of bulky, heavy, space eating gear. All I was after was a little more kick to the sound of my Sony CDX G1200U I purchased a couple years back and this works very well. It doesn't pick up engine noise or get real hot when used for an hour or more. It will let you know if your original recording has trash in it like hiss or pops because they will be more pronounced, but good clean original CDs or MP3 files sound great. The radio sounds like a radio but better. The installation instructions are easy to follow and it comes with all the cords and plugs you need. If you are looking for a system that will rattle your windows and license plate this isn't it, but it is a Sony product so the quality is there.
