Works great. Got it to replace a bad radio in my f-150 and couldn’t be happier. Seems to lag a bit in apple carplay, but, found that to be the case on most of the units I’ve tried. Wound is great with the factory speakers and the installation was far easier then I’ve had in the past. First they delivered the wrong unit, but I reached out to them and they hurried up and sent out the correct unit, so there service was really good and I sent the wrong unit back. There headline should state that you need to purchase the Harley installation kit if your using this on your bike because you will not be able to install it without it. Installed the unit myself, instructions was ok for someone that has installed stereos but if this is your first time, hopefully you can find videos. because it is a pain to understand the installation since it is setup more for autos. ... show more

Feature packed, easy to use, great visibility, and great sound improvement over stock head even with the stock speakers and NO OTHER changes. 100% would recommend. The new, larger unit has the same high-output amp, that can drive a sub without in-line amplifier too, but this one fits the dash of my 2014 Subaru WRX perfectly, and at the price point, it can't be beat. The unit has a lot of features and looks very clean. I like that it works with both Carplay and Android Auto. The speaker options and overall sound are a big inprovement over my old alpine. I feel like for the cost the screen should have at least been 720p (1080p even better). I also think the smartphone usb port should support fast charging.     • so many issues
initially, when I got the stereo, it had all the features I wanted and the price I was looking for however, having this for a couple years now I can tell you that this was probably the worst stereo I ever got. It had nothing but problems with impedance issues fuses blowing out all the time, and finally the stereo just died. I can’t believe I spent all this money and the stereo didn’t even last more than three years. I did have it installed in two different cars with the same issues until it finally stopped working. ... show more

    • Lotta bang for your buck
I put one of these in my '20 Police model Electra Glide Harley. Right out of the box, with no extra amps, this thing has more bang for your buck than the Harley factory radio. So far I've only put 2 channels to use in my fairing and it bumps pretty good. There are a total of 4 channels, each 100 watts. The touch screen is ok, it won't respond if I'm wearing gloves. Honestly, that's not really a surprise. The blutooth function works great. I also like the use of Android carplay. It's handy having GPS when I'm going somewhere unfamiliar. I just wish I didn't have to plug in my phone to make it work. Overall, for the price, this thing is awesome ... show more

Sound, usage, functionality are exactly as expected. But the screen is really bad - it can hardly be seen in a sunny day and with direct sun - it is totally worthless.....

Good radio i love it i had a XAV-AX5000 and now i up graded to a XAV-AX7000 and it really give you a great sound to your system.
