Great quality speakers especially for the price. Good bass and automatic pairing when turned on (after initial pairing). Sounds amazing when you put multiple together and is very portable and compact. Would recommend to all my friends so we could have a sound system set up on our trips!

My UE Wonderboom (received as a gift last year) stopped working and I jumped on the excuse to find something better (I never cared for the sound). I’ve had a Sony SRS-X5 (@SONY please bring this back!) for years and I hoped to find something with a similar sound, but with more portability. I was a bit disappointed with the XB23 at first but, after some tinkering in Music Center and speaker placement, I fell in love with this speaker for what it is. I get an impressively warm and rich sound out of this little guy (B+5, M-2, T=0) but only if I keep the volume between 1/3 and ½ on my phone (Galaxy S9). This will work great as a travel speaker on business trips but it’s not something I will take camping, on picnics, or even listen to around the house. I’m thinking of giving the XB33 or XB43 a try to see if they’re better (but those cheesy lights!). At higher volumes the XB23 sounds tinny and the bas is annoyingly poppy but, and lower volumes, this little guy can produce a really enjoyable sound (the little passive radiators can only handle so much). If you’re looking for something small to keep at lower volumes (like a hotel room) this is perfect. If you’re looking for something to enjoy music outside or with friends, I’d say keep looking. – This is just my two cents and I welcome other’s input. Thanks for reading!

So far I’m impressed how well this speaker sounds. Battery life is good but goes quickly on full blast. Size is perfect so I will enjoy taking this everywhere in the summer on outings. It's a great little speaker with awesome sound quality and volume. It recharges very quickly, but I am not sure it will play 12 hrs in a row at any volume above what you would listen to going to sleep. I have not been willing to spend more than about $30 for a speaker b'c I couldn't seem to keep from breaking the charging port. The USB C connection is sturdy and charges so much faster than the micro USB in the cheaper speakers. I'm going to be very, very careful getting it wet if the charger port cap isn't sealed. It looks a lot like it has to be sealed to be water resistant. I'm definitely not willing to risk it as I have stated several times here, it charges remarkably fast. So far, I love it! I'll come back only if I break the charging port in the same amount of time as the cheap ones, but I don't expect I will.

Was pretty excited to recieve this speaker. Upon opening the package i was very shocked to find a full 7-up can inside! lol... I called amazon and explained what i had recieved and they sent a replacement speaker within a couple days and it was the real deal, This speaker does pretty good for what it is. If you are looking for a bass monster look elsewhere. But if you are looking for a pretty good balanced speaker this does a good job. The bluetooth range is unbelievable and connects without hesitation. My friend has two of these speakers and we linked all three together and all I can say is wow... gamechanger for sure! I will be buying a couple more because of how easy it was to link the speakers together and the sound with more than one is awesome.
