I really like this speaker. It’s very small/compact but has a very nice, high quality, clear sound. The Bluetooth connection is SUPER easy to use; I just downloaded the app and it connected immediately - no repeated set up attempts and no fuss! And the Bluetooth connection doesn't drop - even when switching back and forth between multiple phones/devices which is somewhat rare with these kinds of speakers. It has a strap with a "buckle" so you can strap it on to almost anything and it's also waterproof which gives me peace of mind since I'm using it in the bathroom to listen to while showering etc. It plays a LONG time on a charge but you can also keep it plugged in all the time with the easy to use USB-C port. It's not the loudest speaker in the world but given it's very compact size, I really wouldn't expect it to be and I'd prefer crisp sound over booming volume. I would NOT recommend this you are trying to find a speaker for a large room or to hear throughout multiple rooms but for smaller areas (like a deck/patio, a smaller bedroom, or a bathroom which is where I am using it), it's an incredible deal. I definitely see where other reviews are coming from mentioning some quietness. Compared to other mini speakers I've tried like Bose and JBL, this is a bit on the quieter side. However, if your main purpose is an indoor speaker, this will work just fine and is a good value. My daughter lives in a studio apartment so this has been a perfect shower speaker and indoor speaker while she cooks and cleans. If you want an outdoor speaker, I'd recommend something a bit bigger. The speaker itself is easy to transport and sounds good for what it is. It feels sturdy and have not had any issues with it. Charge holds for a while and charges fast as well. Would definitely recommend if you need a small/non-bulky indoor speaker. ... show more

I have to say this speaker is way better than i imagined and that i underestimated how loud it might get, Before I bought it I watched a bunch of reviews saying it was "Quiet" and those were a bunch of lies the sound quality is amazing, the bass is nice and boomy, and has nice low end. Another aspect of this speaker is it's size it is smaller than i imagined and from what i saw in the videos that i saw Sony really took "Portable" into consideration when designing this speaker. This is a high quality product that i can't even put into words it is made of recycled plastic material and the texture is smooth and really nice overall, I prioritize bass when it comes to speakers and this really did the job. The battery life is excellent it hasn't died yet and the lowest its been was 40% which is what it was when it arrived. This is also really good for it's price I caught it on sale even after christmas and paid $41.23 instead of $59.99. So i do have to say i recommend this to anyone out there looking for a small protable speaker that they can carry around and throw in a bag easily with good sound quality, gets really loud, and has good deep bass that is boomy. ... show more

For $50 and its small size, this is a pretty nice speaker. The bass and volume are quite good for its size (fits nicely in my car's cup holders), but that comes at the cost of somewhat muddied mid tones. There's no built-in EQ as far as I can tell, but the speaker actually presents as 2 devices, one with an eq intended for music playback, and another intended for voice audio. The voice audio device has better mid tones and less bass. Overall it's a good little unit, and the option to pair 2 of them for stereo is kinda cool. ... show more

Love it!!! This is the perfect size for my needs. Bass is right. Functions great. Easy to Bluetooth and use. I fully charged it when I got it on 5/26/25, it charged up fast and it's still going strong (today is 5/28/25). So far, I'd say batter life lasts as stated. This was tested between a Stormbox Micro 2, a Wonderboom 2, and a JBL Go 3. This is a wonderful little speaker that’s replacing my aging Wonderboom. No, it’s not as loud as any of the others I compared it to - probably only gets about 60-70% against the Micro 2 at full volume. But MAN is that sound nice. Highs and mids are great, and the bass is good - complementary, instead of drowning out the rest compared to a lot of outdoor speakers this size. It’s not anything you’d notice at an outdoor gathering but if you really value good sound quality this beats it by a country mile. I have a sneaking suspicion these fabric covers on speakers tend to muffle the sound, because the speaker just sounds so CRISP. I played it in my yard at full volume and could hear it quite well from even 25 feet so the volume is certainly enough for my needs, but it would definitely get drowned out by other speakers. If you value really nice sound quality over pure volume, this is an easy recommendation. ... show more

Looks nice. I like the buttons. Strap is good quality. Sound-wise it leaves a lot on the table. You want small size and great sound, this isn't it. Get a Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 if you want an inexpensive, good sound, speaker in a small size.
