Description
Shooting sports or wildlife, the SEL70200G comes into its own. Covering the 70-200mm range where much of the telephoto action occurs, it combines refined G Series optics with built-in image stabilisation. Dust and water resistant, it also features the Sony Nano AR Coating to minimise flare and ghosting. Coupled with a Full Frame E-mount camera from Sony, this lens delivers big camera performance in a remarkably compact, easy-to-handle package. Renowned for its descriptive power, you can see the difference with the G Series lenses as it maintains excellent peripheral light characteristics and maximum contrast even at the edges of the frame. Instead of a standard polygon-shaped lens aperture; this lens features a 9-blade circular aperture for more natural, rounded defocusing or bokeh. Precision optical technologies include Advanced A spherical (AA) elements, Super ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements, and the Sony Nano AR coating. Having an internal focusing mechanism means the lens barrel does not move, enabling a more compact design, faster autofocus response, and reduced minimum focusing distances. In addition, there is an easy to reach button which lets you lock focus at the current setting. A built-in Optical Steady Shot image stabilisation within the lens ensures smooth, blur-free photos and videos when shooting handheld. Finally, with a focus range limiter it's useful when you need the fastest possible autofocus response. Set Contains: Case ALC-SH133 Tripod mount Lens rear cap Lens front cap
