I bought it at full price; presumably it was new, however when it arrived, it was dysfunctional. It works for a minute or two, then crashes. I filed a return, and they refunded the money (though I still have the dysfunctional hardware they did not ask me to return). But this system proved entirely non-operative. Just received my psp yesterday and I love it! It arrived early which is a plus and its in great condition. Not only did it come packaged with a charger and 2 battery packs but also a memory stick and ear buds! If you use any UMD games you will hear a quiet whirring sound of the disk spinning. I saw some people mention this as an issue but its actually normal and something that you'd hear or new psp's when they first released and as long as its not overpowering your game audio its totally normal. Only issue Ive come across are a few dots on the screen which I circled and can see when the screen is off but when Im playing a game I don't even notice it so I'm fine with it! Cheap and Cute. I bought refurbished, it just wasn't as effective as I had hoped. It very quickly lost the ability to charge/recharge. Oh well. It lasted long enought for me to revisit FF Tactics and that's all I really wanted from it.

I bought this in 2019 to relive some of my old games; and it’s still working just fine in 2024 so overall if you have some old PSP games and wanna relive them again definitely buy another PsP if yours is lost or no longer working.
